Step # 13 Open up TMPGEnc 4.0 Express and click on “Start a new project” Step # 14 Click on “Add file” Step # 15 Select the file name using this path . . . C:Documents and Settings/Editor/My Documents/SpeedEdit/My Projects/Alaska2004#1VTP2AVI.avi Then click on “Open” Step # 16 Notice that the video file that was selected is correct However, the audio file will need to be changed Step # 17 Click on the word “Browse” not the pull down arrow next to it – it should bring up a “Open” file menu Step # 18 Select the audio file and then click on “Open” Step # 19 Click on “Yes” Step # 20 The audio file path is now correct Step # 21 Click on “OK” Step # 22 A video & audio clip is now added Step # 23 Now click on “Format” Step # 24 Select “Blu-ray standard MPEG file” if this is not highlighted Step # 25 If you want a menu based disc select “Blu-ray (BRMV) ” Step # 26 Click on “Select” Step # 27 There are a multitude of options to choose from but I’m burning a 25GB blu-ray disc and you can see that I have already used about 16.5 GB I will need some room for the menu so I will click on “OK” Step # 28 If no changes are needed then click on “Save” Step # 29 Highlight the file name and then input the new file name leaving the .txp4e file extension . . . then click on “Save” Step # 30 Click on “Encode” Step # 31 Click on the “Start Encoding” icon Step # 32 Take note of the path & file name Step # 33 TMPGEnc 4.0 Express is encoding the file Step # 34 The file encoding is complete You can click “OK” or check the “Do not display this message again” box
