Who Shops at the Fremont Fair Fremont Fair Attendance Presented by the Fremont Chamber of Commerce June 22 and 23, the 42nd Annual Fremont Fair is a community celebration that draws 100,000 guests to experience the quirky character of Seattle’s eclectic and artistic Fremont neighborhood. Coinciding with Fremont Arts Council’s annual Solstice Parade, the Fremont Fair includes performances by local bands, arts and crafts shopping, food and drink, artistic expression and fun for young and old – all coming together to celebrate Fremont’s “delibertas quirkas” culture. In order to gather data from the festival audience the Fremont Fair partners with the Fair Rewards program, a kiosk and coupon based system that gathers demographic information from participants. All information seen below is reflective of the 2012 Fremont Fair guests, of which 2% were sampled. The Fremont Fair polled guests and found that the audience is comprised of largely first time attendees and loyal return guests. *Note, guests’ say that their second favorite event element is shopping (38%). Fremont Fair Vendor Page The Fremont Fair Vendor page organizes your shop by category and details your shop by name, short description and link to your website. The Vendor page v recieves over 15,000 visits a year. Email Newsletter The Fremont Fair communicates Facebook 3,300+ Fans The Fremont Fair uses Facebook over 4,500 loyal email Vendors are subscribers. with to post specific content highlighting which vendors are participating and to promote shopping at the Fair. mentioned in three of our six eblasts. One of which is dedicated to highlighting participating vendors and to encourage shopping at the Fair. In 2012, we sent a holiday shopping guide encouraging our subscribers to shop Fair vendors all year around. Twitter 1,130+ Followers The Fremont Fair uses Twitter to post vendor specific content about participating vendors and to encourage shopping at the Fair. Fremont Fair Poster Event Poster The Fremont Fair prints over 2,000 event posters that are distributed throughout the greater Seattle area. Posters are hung in business store fronts and deployed to all event promotional partners. v Fremont Fair Coaster 100,000 Event Coaster coasters are printed and 60,000 are inserted in the Seattle Weekly newspaper with the remaining 40,000 distributed to local businesses and shops. Located at the PCC Waterfront Stage on the west end of the Fair, Laura Yon-Brooks will lead a solstice-inspired, one-hour yoga practice for all levels.
