The conference shall cover various aspects related to the subject of by-product
metals:
 European policy on secondary materials,

precious metals and others) in ores and concentrates,
 behaviour of by-product metals in metallurgical and hydrometallurgical treatment of base metal concentrates,
 by-product metals as impurities in base metals – methods for removal and
refining,
 economics of by-product metals recovery,
 environmental protection in recovery of by-product metals,
 new compounds and alloys based on by-product metals,
 refractory metals – production and applications,
The 3rd seminar on production and application of rhenium and its compounds will
take place during the conference.
