The map shows areas that MTN has considered deploying Fiber to the Home (FTTH) • To find out if your area is ready for connection, click on your address on the coverage map or search for your street or estate in the search bar 4 Logging an interest • If your area is not ready for sign up, the below pop-up message will appear when you click on your home address. ’MTN Supersonic development is being considered in this area. Tell us if you are interested here.’ • Click on here and you will be directed to MTN online shop to select your FTTH package. • Follow the steps as requested. • MTN will save your tailored plan and once your area is ready for connection, you will receive a notification email that your area is now ready for connection and you can go ahead online and place an order • Below is the pop-up message you will receive if MTN Supersonic is still being deployed in your area • Once you have clicked or searched for your address, a pop-up message will appear with a note to let you know if your house is ready for connection • If your house is ready for sign up, the above pop message with appear ’MTN Supersonic is available in this area. Sign up now!’ • Click on ‘Sign up now!’. You will then be directed to the MTN online shop to select your FTTH package 5 Ordering the MTN FTTH service • If MTN FTTH is available in your area and your house is ready for connection, you can then place an order for the FTTH service • Click on ’ Sign up now!’ • Page 1: This is the MTN Online Shop where you can choose your required MTN Supersonic package • Read and accept the terms and conditions • Click on ‘Next Step: Configure your Plan’ to select your FTTH package 6 Choosing a month-to-month contract • Page 2: This is the page where you can choose the contract type you require. You can choose between a month-to-month contract and a 24 months contract. Month-to-month contract: page 2 Scroll down here • Select the ‘1 month’ tab • Use the sliders to choose the line speed and the data bundle you require • Scroll down using the scroller on the right 7 • Click on: ‘Next Step: Your device’ 8 Month-to-month contract: page 3 • Page 3: You will then be directed to the device payment page, to choose how you would like to pay for the FTTH device Scroll down here • If you choose a month-to-month contract, the device fee has to be paid upfront. • Select ‘Once-off payment’ • Scroll down using the grey line 9 • Click on: ‘Review and apply’ to proceed 10 Month-to-month contract: page 4 • Page 4: This page will show your tailored plan and the package you have chosen • Use the pencil marker if you need to make any changes • Scroll down and click on ‘Proceed to check out’ 11 Choosing a 24-month contract 24-months contract: page 2 • Select the ‘24 months’ tab Scroll down here • Use the sliders to choose the line speed and the data bundle you require • Scroll down using the grey scroller 12 • Click on: ‘Next Step: Your device’ 24-month contract: page 3 • Page 3: You will then be directed to the device payment page, to choose how you would like to pay for the • FTTH device You can choose to pay for the device once-off or over 24 months 13 If you choose Once-off payment - you pay for the device once off If you choose Monthly - you pay for the device on a monthly basis • Select how you would like to pay for the ONT device • Scroll down using the grey scroller 14 If you choose Once-off payment - you pay for the device once off If you choose Monthly - you pay for the device on a monthly basis • Select how you would like to pay for the ONT device • Scroll down using the grey scroller 15 • Click on: ‘Review and apply’ to proceed 16 24-month contract: page 4 • This page shows you a view of the package you have selected • If you are happy with your selection, click on ‘Proceed to check out’ • If you would like to make some changes click on the pencil marker to make changes 17 Profile registration • You will then be directed to the MTN store login page • If you have an existing MTN Online Shop account; › Select ‘I am a returning customer’ › Use your login credentials to log in • If not, select ‘I’m a new customer’ › Fill in the registration form to obtain your login credentials 18 MTN Online Shop account registration form • If you are a new customer with MTN, select ‘I’m a new customer’ • Fill in the registration form to obtain login credentials • Once registered, use your new credentials to log in to the MTN store • Once logged in, you will be directed to the MTN subscriber confirmation page 19 Security questions • Once you click on ‘Proceed and check out’ • Security questions will pop up on your screen • Complete the security questions with the answer that is most applicable to you • It is mandatory that these questions are completed • Click on ‘next’ to submit • Once you click next, you will be directed to the MTN subscriber confirmation page 20 MTN subscriber confirmation page On the MTN subscriber confirmation page: • If you have an existing standard consumer account with MTN; › Select on the account you want to transact on/receive invoice statements on 21 • If you have an existing corporate (business) consumer account with MTN; › Select ‘Create new account’ • Once selected, click on ‘Next’ • You will then be directing the pre-vetting form page 22 Credit vetting page • Fill in your details as required and select ‘Submit’ • Ensure you complete all mandatory fields before you click on ‘Submit’ 23 • Once submitted, you will be directed to a page where you need to complete a ‘Subscriber • • agreement form’ Fill in all required details, read and accept the terms and conditions Once completed, click on ‘Submit’ • Once submitted your application will be sent to the MTN credit vetting department for assessment • You should then receive the below notification that your application has been sent to MTN’s credit department for consideration and feedback will be provided with 28 hours 24 Application status • If your application has been approved: › You will receive a notification SMS /email › Log in to MTN Online Store to make your payment https://shop.mtn.co.za/shop.jsp • Once logged in, you should now be prompted to make your first payment • If you would like to make the payment now, select ‘Pay now’ • If you would like to pay later, then select ‘Pay later’ • If your application has been declined: › Contact our call centre on 0831235360 to find out reasons why your application has been declined • If you select ‘Pay now’, you will then be directed to Paygate where you need to provide your credit card details for the payment. 25 • Once payment has been made and confirmed.
