M-3 Caramel Apple Crunch (Cider) Floyd Getz (Tyler Area Pints & Suds) Apples dipped in warm caramel with a touch of cinnamon bring back memories of a going to the fair. AJ. Yeast: Nottingham. Adjuncts: More AJ, Homemade Caramel Syrup, Cinnamon. Comments: 8.4 % ABV. Kegged. M-4 Cinnamon Apple Cider (Cider) Christopher Mix (Tyler Area Pints & Suds) I used Hot Damn Cinnamon Schnapps to flavor and provide for in the bottle carbonation of the cider. All the flavor and a good dose cinnamon. Delicious! Apple Cider. Yeast: Danstar Champagne Dry. Adjuncts: Raisins, Brown Sugar, Hot Damn Schnapps. Comments: 11 % ABV. Bottled. M-5 NacCizer (Mead) John Chapman (Nac Brew Club) An Apple Honey mead also called a Ciser. Tastes great, goes down warm. ?. Yeast: Lalvin D74. Comments: 8 % ABV. Bottled. F-6 Pirates of the French Riviera (Brown Farmhouse/Saison) Scott Williamson (Tyler Area Pints & Suds) A brown farmhouse ale brewed with rye malt and rose hips. Grains: Pilsner, Rye, Chocolate Hops: Sorachi Ace. Yeast: Saison Comments: 7.2% ABV. Kegged F-7 Blossoms Up Modified Light (Fruit Ale) Jimmy Dachelet (Nac Brew Club) Brewed with a yeast specifically created for Austin Homebrew by White Labs to bring out the floral flavors in the grains then topped off with a tangy extract of Oranges. Light and fruity ready for the warm Texas Spring. Grains/Extracts: Honey Malt, Flaked Oats, Flaked Triticale, Bohemian Pilsner, Crystal, Flaked Barley, Flaked Spelt, Extra Pale Extract. Hops: Cascade, Saaz. Yeast: White Labs AHS Persica Ale 299 Comments: 5.2% ABV. Kegged. OSG 1.058, FSG 1.018 F-8 MadCon Black Berry Wheat (Fruit / Wheat) MadCon Brewing (East Texas Brewers Guild) Wheat bier with blackberries grown deep in East Texas. This wit bier has strong berry aromas, some mild wheat, no real hops or yeast characteristics. Flavor is predominately tart blackberries! Hops: Perle. Yeast: WLP001 Adjuncts: Blackberries. F-9 Hibiscus Ginger Saison (Saison) Murray’s Backyard Brewing (Nac Brew Club) This crisp and pleasant saison is pink in color from the hibiscus, ginger root and green peppercorns add a peppy spicy snap. This full body light ale has the characteristics of a Blue Moon with a kick. 6 lbs of local clover honey & 12 oz of orange zest, this beer has a very smooth full taste but a very high ABV of 9%. I-2 Big Mountain NWPA (Northwest Pale Ale) Rick Block (Nac Brew Club) Not as hoppy as an IPA, this could be classified as an Extra Strong Pale Ale. It is a complex, copper colored brew with a citrus punch. It is a mixture of select European and domestic malts. Grains: Crystal, Carastan, Carapils, Munich, Pilsner & Pale Hops: Cascade, Centenial. Altbier is Copper-colored, cool-fermented, cold conditioned, clean-tasting, with aromatic hop presence, a firm creamy head, a medium body, and a dry finish.
