Puppy Weaning Advice Sheet
• Weaning starts around 3 weeks of age
• Puppies will likely still be feeding from the mother at 3-4
weeks of age
• Puppies between the age of 3-4weeks may need to be fed
6 + times a day (it all depends how much the mother is
providing)
• The Puppy nuggets or Junior cans/ pouches are safe to
wean puppies onto
• Fully defrost the Puppy nuggets
• We recommend to add some warm water to the
Puppy/Junior products to make them into a paste that is
easy to lap up

• It is safe to lightly warm the products before feeding (oven or
stove top). Please make sure the product is cool enough before
feeding
• From 6 weeks of age you may find that they wont need the
water added or the food warmed
• From 8 weeks of age they will likely be on 3-4 meals per day
• Please refer to our Puppy Feeding Guides for the
recommended amounts to be fed per day.

• The cat raw nuggets or Kitten pouches are safe to wean
kittens onto
• Kittens between the age of 3-4weeks may need to be fed
5+ times a day (it all depends how much the mother is
providing)
• The Cat nuggets or Kitten pouches are safe to wean kittens
onto
• Fully defrost the Cat nuggets
