12th Annual Alzheimer Rendezvous

This year’s Alzheimer Rendezvous was truly an evening to remember. Over 320 guests enjoyed music by Sean
Gormely and a delicious gourmet dinner followed by an engaging and thought-provoking presentation
from special guest speaker, Steve Paikin (Host of TVO’s The Agenda). Guests also participated in a silent
auction, balloon raffle, and for the first time, a mystery jewellery box raffle. Dynamic and humourous, Steve
also made a real effort to meet as many of our guests as possible.
We are proud to announce that this year’s Rendezvous event raised more than $46,000!
In the District of Thunder Bay, over 2,300 people live with Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia. On
behalf of those families, their caregivers, and the Alzheimer Society of Thunder Bay, we sincerely thank you
for your continued support of our events.
