WI-SICP 2015 - 2016 Board of Directors President / National SICP Chapter Liaison / Past President Erwin Wuehr graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering as a Biomedical Engineer and as a Cardiovascular Perfusionist. Erwin worked as a perfusionist for eight years before being hired at the Milwaukee Area Technical College to develop their Cardiovascular Technology Program. He is currently the Program Director for both the Invasive CVT and Echocardiography programs as well as the Anesthesia Technology program. Erwin is a founding member of WI-SICP and served as president of the WISICP in 2009 & 2016 and is the current Chapter Liaison for National SICP. Treasurer Michelle Salzman graduated from Milwaukee Area Technical College with a degree in Cardiovascular Technology. Michelle has worked with Aurora Heath Care for the past 10 years, as both an EP and Cath Lab technologist. While employed with Aurora, Michelle has obtained her RCES and RCIS registries. Michelle served as secretary with the WI-SICP in 2014 and 2015. Secretary Shauna Lenway is a newly graduated CVT and is currently employed at WFHC - St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee. She has served two years on the WI-SICP Board of Directors. Treasurer-elect Samantha Keihl is a 2014 graduate of the Invasive CVT program at the Milwaukee Area Technical College. She is has been employed at Aurora-Summit Medical Center for the previous six years, the last two in the cardiac cath lab. Samantha has earned her CRAT & RCIS credentials. Past President / WebMaster John Gaffney has been an employee of ProHealth care for the past 18 years, where he has functioned as a technologist in the cardiac cath labs. He holds the RCIS credential through CCI, and CEPS through the Heart Rhythm Society. In his spare time, he also works as an Advanced EMT. John has served the WISICP as Secretary and as president for two terms. Manufacturing Representative Tim Tobolic is currently a Business Partner at Boston Scientific responsible for interventional cardiology and structural heart products. Tim has covered most of the state of Wisconsin for the last 7 years. Tim along with all Boston Scientific employees are required to complete RCIS certification during their training. About your Speakers Ted Feldman, MD Dr. Feldman received his undergraduate and medical training at Indiana University, completing residency training as Chief Resident at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. After finishing his Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Chicago, he remained there as Professor of Medicine and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. He currently practices at Evanston Northwestern Hospital, where he is Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, holds the Walgreen Chair in Interventional Cardiology, and is Professor of Medicine at Northwestern University Medical School. Peter Mason, MD Dr. Peter Mason is an Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at The Medical College of Wisconsin with specific interests and training in interventional cardiology, vascular medicine, and endovascular intervention. He earned his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed Internal Medicine residency training at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT; Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship and Cardiac Interventional Fellowships at Boston Medical Center; and a Vascular Medicine and Peripheral Vascular Interventional Fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Mason completed a National Heart Lung and Blood Institute sponsored Cardiovascular Epidemiology Research Fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital during which time he earned a Master's of Public Health from the Harvard University School of Public Health. Mohammad Jan, MD Dr. Muhammad Jan is a cardiologist in Grafton, Wisconsin. Dr. Jan received his medical degree from GMC Srinagar, Kashmir, India. He completed my residency in internal medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia, Pa. He has also completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at Aurora Health Care, University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Milwaukee, WI. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He specializes in coronary angioplasty and stenting, endovascular repair of aneurysmal aortic disease, ASD/PFO closure and alcohol septal ablation. Firas Ghanem, MD Dr. Ghanem graduated from the Univ of Tichreen, Fac of Med, Lattakia, Syria in 1995. He works in Columbus, IN and 1 other location and specializes in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Ghanem is affiliated with Columbus Regional Health, Midwest Spine & Orthopedic Hospital/Wisconsin Heart Hospital Campus, Schneck Medical Center, Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare Saint Joseph Hospital, Wheaton Franciscan St Francis Hospital and Wheaton Franciscan-Elmbrook Memorial Hospital. Richard Mullvain, RPH BCPS (AQC) CCCC Richard Mullvain is a Cardiology Specialized Clinical Pharmacist, STEMI Program & Chest Pain Center expert, in addition to providing Medication Therapy Management in a Heart & Vascular Clinic. He has multiple expertises in cardiovascular related pharmacology and anticoagulation. He has also authored the DASH STEMI Transfer Protocol, utilized in NE Minnesota, and adapted for the entire state of North Dakota. He currently serves as the current Co-Chair of the American Heart Association Minnesota Mission Lifeline STEMI Project and has recently nominated to serve on the AHA National Mission: Lifeline Science Task Force. David Kress, MD Dr. David C. Kress is board certified in general, cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. He serves as Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Director of the Surgical Arrhythmia Program at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. His special interests include valvular heart surgery, including mitral valve repair; off-pump coronary artery bypass; arrhythmia surgery, including the hybrid minimally invasive atrial fibrillation ablation; and extraction of pacemaker and defibrillator leads. Dr. Kress also leads the coordination of cardiac surgery quality improvement efforts at Aurora St. Luke's.
