The Montessori Children’s House of Denver was established in 1991 by a family
of educators who had a vision of creating a beautiful, nurturing and effective
learning community that embodied the principles respect for oneself, others and
the environment.
Within the first year, the school became known throughout Denver communities
and amongst other private schools for its dedication to excellence. Over the
past 17 years, MCHD has become a leader amongst the school community with its
strong emphasis on Peace Education, non-violent communication, Nature Study
and outdoor learning.
The dedication to nurturing the spirit of the children has earned the
Montessori Children’s House of Denver recognition from the Mayor’s office
and the Better Business Bureau as well as full affiliation with the American
Montessori Society, the North American Montessori Teachers Association,
and the Colorado Child Care Association. The Montessori Children’s House of
Denver serves as a teaching intern site for the Montessori Education Center of
the Rockies and the Montessori Center International as well as other MACTE
accredited teacher-training programs.

I would also like to thank the Montessori Children’s House of Denver teachers
for the phenomenal job they do in educating the children. They are imparting

Elementary Class
This handmade quilt is extra special because
of the love that went into making it. The
children brought in their very own fabrics and
embellishments for this gorgeous creation. After
painstakingly choosing and arranging fabrics, the
students carefully pieced together and decorated
this amazing masterpiece. And for those who
can’t believe their eyes, the students are pictured
on the back working away at the quilt. This
priceless quilt will not only keep you warm it will
also warm your heart.

The silent auction will open at 6:00 p.m. Tables will close randomly beginning at 7:30
p.m. Bids will not be accepted after the table closes.
All items will have a corresponding bid sheet nearby. Persons wishing to bid must
print their bid number and Bid Amount in the appropriate column.
All bids must be an amount equal or greater than the minimum bid specified on the
bid sheet, otherwise they will be disqualified. All bids must be made in whole dollar
increments.
All items must be paid in full by the end of the evening and may be purchased with
cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or ACH Transaction. Please plan
to take your item home with you.
All sales are final, and there will be no refunds or exchange. Further, the MCHD is in
no way responsible for any restrictions or conditions set forth by the donor, nor the
condition of any auction item.
