Besides having so much power that you’ll never run out of headroom,
Warp X™ offers a unique set of smart, useful features unmatched by any
other amp. You want ultimate responsiveness? You want an amp where your
guitar strings start to feel like a natural extension of your fingers?
Press the LUBE switch in the Warp channel, and your guitar doesn’t just say
“I can”, but “I will.” If you use a MIDI pedal and want to switch internal amp
channels and external effects simultaneously, then you’re in the right place.
With the optional MSM-1 MIDI module, it’s no problem. But probably the
coolest live-performance feature is the fact that the FX loop can be switched
to either serial OR parallel use, so that your external effect units can be assigned to either the entire amp or to just one of the two channels. In practice this
means that in one moment you have a Clean sound with chorus, echo, etc.,
and in the next, with just a press of the footswitch, you’ve got nothing but
pure, heavy Warp sound. And not only the features are hot: the glowing red
plexiglass front panel reveals a view into the inner sanctum of glowing hot
vacuum tubes, and makes clear what this amp is made of – Pure Dark Energy.
