information from the net from the year 2000.I made a small 3 inch refractor telescope in
2002.Then after gathering and understanding all the information and got the required materials i
started making my own telescope. The project was started in the month of April in 2003 and it was
completed in June 2004.

WEB DESIGNING WORKSHOP
Workshop at VBIT:
The main objective of this workshop is to create awareness among the
students about the prevailing web designing technologies and also
provoking the thought that web designing is very much simple and that
one need not actually learn a programming language in order to develop
a website.
A total of 155 students participated in the workshop conducted on
web designing. The workshop was conducted in 4 sessions i.e. 2
sessions a day out of which the 1st session was a theory session. Both
theory and practical sessions were conducted. Theory sessions were
carried out on Joomla and Drupal. Students were also helped in
gaining practical knowledge through the practical sessions. This is
where the student actually gets a chance to apply what he/she has
learnt.
It was a tremendous response from all the students of B.Tech.
Students from other colleges also participated in large number.
The topics which were covered are as follows:
• Joomla!
• Drupal
• HTML
• PHP
• How is Joomla different from others.

The event was a grand success as we received an overwhelming
response from the students and also that the students have gained
confidence that they have learnt something productive.
We are looking forward to have many such quality events in the
coming future.
