Moroccan Odyssey 2016
12-days/11-nights including the Imperial Cities of Casablanca, Rabat, Volubulis, and Meknes,
the exotic flavor of Fes and Marrakech, and adventures on a Sahara Desert Safari and in the
Atlas Mountains.
Join Toni on this custom small group adventure tour of Morocco. It will be an exciting and exotic time filled
with fun and adventure limited to a small group size of only 16 people April 9th to April 20th, 2016
Day 1: April 9th
Overnight Flight to Casablanca from your home city (call for current airfare rates).
Day 2: April 10th
Welcome to Casablanca! After clearing immigration and customs, meet your guide, Fettah, in the arrivals hall.
Once we get settled in our private bus, we will drive through Casablanca and see the sights on a panoramic
tour enroute to the Imperial City of Rabat which serves as the administrative capital of Morocco. Extensive
sightseeing includes the Mausoleum Mohammed V, Hassan Tower, the Chellah Necropolis and the Kasbah
Oudaya. Late afternoon, check into your hotel and settle in before enjoying dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: April 11th
After breakfast, you will take the highway towards the youngest imperial city of Meknes, one of the UNESCO
world heritage sites. You will visit the gate of Bab Mansour, El Hdim place, the silos, the stables, Mausoleum of
the Sultan Mouly Ismail and the ramparts of the old medina. Continue to Volubulis, the partly excavated
Roman City dating back to 3 B.C. From here, head to the exotic city of Fes where you will check in to your
authentic 4-star Riad accommodation within the walls of the old city before enjoying dinner.

Day 4: April 12th
Today we will explore the city of Fes which serves as the intellectual and religious center of Morocco as well as
the capital of craftsmanship. After breakfast, you will begin by exploring the medieval medina of Fes, another
UNESCO world heritage site. It will be an adventurous walk through the labyrinth of alleys and narrow cobbled
streets that teem with local people going about their daily business. You will relish in the sights, sounds, smells
and tastes of the area. The medina includes ancient mosques (around 365), Mederasas (Koranic schools),
fountains and foundouks (inns along the caravan trail), in addition to the souks and famous tanneries. This
evening you will have dinner on your own. We will make recommendations for restaurants in the old city.

Day 5: April 13th
After breakfast you will visit the ramparts of Fes including the Royal Palace, and the Northern and Southern
towers that provide a stunning view over the medina. We finish the morning with an interesting walk through
the old Jewish Quarter and visit the historic synagogue.
This afternoon is free to relax at the Riad, enjoy an optional cooking class or visit a Hammam spa. Tonight
features an optional visit to a pub in the new city.

Day 6: April 14th
After breakfast, we leave Fes and drive towards Midelt via Ifran and the cedar forests of the middle Atlas
Mountains. We then explore the beautiful Ziz Valley and see the famous hills where locals extract fossils, while
enroute to the old Berber City of Sijilmassa and the little town of Erfoud After settling in, enjoy dinner at the
hotel.

Day 7: April 15th
After breakfast, travel by bus to Rissani which once served as the desert capital during the 14th to 18th
centuries along the Sahara caravan road. We will visit the main mausoleum and interesting local market
before enjoying lunch in the town (on your own).
After lunch, we will continue our journey by 4 x 4 vehicles to take us to our desert camp. After getting settled,
we will trade our vehicles for a camel caravan to travel into the desert for a spectacular sunset (or you can
choose to travel this part in a 4 x 4 as well). We will ride our camels back to camp, where we will enjoy an
animated dinner under the stars with Berber musicians. Tonight let the quiet of the desert lull you to sleep in
your Nomadic Tent. Each tent sleeps two people and is outfitted with mattresses and pillows, a portable
splash toilet and showers with hot and cold water.

Day 8: April 16th
It’s an early start today to take a short walk up to the dunes and enjoy the most beautiful event in the desert:
the sun rise over the golden dunes of Merzouga. A delicious breakfast will follow before leaving our camp. We
will travel through the Todgha gorges to Tinghir in the High Atlas Mountains and on to Ouarzazate (known as
the Hollywood of Africa ) . En route we will travel the road of 1,000 kasbahs and cross the colorful valley of
roses and discover the city of roses in Kelaa Mgouna and the fascinating Skoura palm grove. Enjoy dinner this
evening at your hotel.

Day 9: April 17th
After breakfast, you will visit the famous Kasbah Taourirt and one of the cinema studios. Then you head off to
Ait Benhaddou village, the best preserved ksar in the South of Morocco. Movies such as Gladiator and
Lawrence of Arabia were filmed there. The Ksar has also been used as a setting for many tournaments and has
been classified by UNSECO as a world heritage site. In the afternoon we drive to Ourika where you will check
into your hotel. Tonight enjoy dinner at your hotel. Overnight: Ourika 4-star hotel (B, D)
Day 10: April 18th
After breakfast, you will enjoy the Ourika River Valley and its waterfalls followed by a walking tour in Setti
Fatma village. There may be a possibility of visiting a Berber family in the village and have a drink or lunch in
the family house. Then drive to Marrakech. After check-in, you have free time to relax. Optional Dinner Show
this evening at Chez Ali Fantasia.

Day 11:
April 19th
Following breakfast, the whole day will be devoted to exploring the impressive city of Marrakech, also named
the “Pearl of the South”. You will visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadiens Tombs and Bahia Palace, and have
ample time to walk the many souks of the old medina. We will end at the famous Jemaa El Fna Square, a
UNESCO site and the heart of the city, crowded with legendary snake charmers, storytellers, musicians,
barbers and sellers of fruit, water, spices, food, etc. Late afternoon you return to your Riad to enjoy a farewell
dinner.

Day 12: April 20th
Following breakfast, we will depart directly for Casablanca Airport for your return flight.

Your contract is with Bespoke Tours of Morocco (Bespoke Morocco) located at Av Ibn Athir 30040 Fez, Morocco under
following terms and conditions: 1. General Information 1.1 When you make a booking you shall be deemed to have
accepted and agreed that our responsibility to you and your party for supplying the tours and other holiday services
described in the Reservation Form (and in any supplemental documents) shall be in accordance with these Terms and
Conditions. 1.2 A Contract will exist once your completed Reservation Form and deposit is received by us and we accept
and confirm the booking. Please note that travel arrangements are not confirmed until you receive our written
confirmation. Contract shall be formed on these Terms and Conditions. 1.3 No variation of these Terms and Conditions
shall apply unless confirmed in writing by or on behalf of Bespoke Morocco. Bespoke Morocco reserves the right to
amend and update these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. Only Bespoke Morocco representatives, who
possess written authority to do so, may vary, add or waive any term or condition in this contract, to include terms or
conditions set forth in the preceding provisions. 1.4 These Terms and Conditions together with the information set out
in our Reservation Form and Booking Confirmation constitute the entire agreement between ourselves and yourself and
supersede any prior promises, representations, undertakings or implications whether written or oral. 1.5 We will
provide the holiday services and accommodations as described in the Reservation Form and Booking Confirmation. Any
additional requests not included on the Booking Confirmation do not form part of the Contract. It is your responsibility
to check that the details are accurate and are consistent with agreed details. 2. Prices 2.1 Prices are based on costs,
charges, tariffs, rates, prices, taxes, levies and exchange rates at booking date and are subject to change without prior
notice. Your price will be fixed once you have paid your deposit of your land tour and received your booking
confirmation. This guarantee is subject to clause 4.4 and excludes fuel surcharges or any other taxes, charges or levies
imposed by any government or their agencies. 2.2 Tour Price Includes: • Hotel Accommodation: Prices are per person
and are based on two persons sharing a twin-bedded room. Any other type of accommodation is subject to supplement
fee. For triple room bookings, an extra bed will be provided in the room and the extra bed is often a folding bed, much
inferior to the existing twin/double bed. Page 2 of 5 • Substitute hotels may be used at certain times and will be of
similar standard whenever possible. • Meals: As indicated in the itineraries with letters (B) breakfast, (L) lunch, (D)
dinner • Transportation: Touring and other transportation provided by private airconditioned motor coach unless
otherwise stated in the itinerary • Sightseeing: As mentioned in each itinerary escorted by English speaking guides •
Transfers: Arrival and departure airport transfers (one transfer vehicle per way for entire group) are included in the tour
prices. Transfers may or may not be included for passengers who extend their stay with pre-tour or post-tour
arrangements depending on the destination, day, length of stay etc. • Porterage: Included in some tours as indicated in
itineraries • Local taxes and service charges 2.3 Tour Price Excludes: • International airfare, except where specified •
Departure & airport taxes and fees • Passport and visa services & fees • Beverages with meals, meals other than those
mentioned in each itinerary • Tips to drivers, guides and escorts. • Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone, taxi,
excess baggage etc. • Insurance of all kinds including travel insurance • Money or bank transfers • Optional tours 3.
Booking and Payment: 3.1 Your reservation request will be confirmed upon receipt of the non-refundable deposit which
is $600 USD. Please note that travel arrangements are not confirmed until you receive our written confirmation. 3.2
Second payment of $600 USD or total of $1,200 is due October 31, 2015. 3.3 The balance of the total amount is due on
February 28th, 2016 which is $1,259 USD for double occupancy and $1,759 USD for single occupancy. Reservations
received after February 28th, 2016 require full payment upon booking. 3.4 If the deposit is not paid on time, the
reservation will automatically be cancelled. If the balance is not paid on time we shall retain your deposit and reserve
the right to cancel your travel arrangements and levy the cancellation charges set out in clause 4.3 below. 3.5 All prices
shall be payable in the quoted/invoiced currency. All credit card payments are charged in U.S dollars. 3.6 Your payment
is not deemed made until we confirm we have received cleared funds. Page 3 of 5 4. Changes to the Booking: 4.1 After
booking is confirmed, any revision or alteration requested by you (including transfer of booking to a later date or to
another person) is subject to our acceptance at our sole discretion and to an administrative fee of $50.00 per revision
per booking. Additionally we reserve the right to make any further necessary charges relating to the change or changes
including charges imposed by our suppliers. Changes or adjustments to a booking will not be accepted within 30 days
prior to departure and will be treated as a cancellation in accordance with clause 4.3. 4.2 If after the commencement of
your tour you request any changes to your travel arrangements, we will do our best to implement them, but we cannot
guarantee that it will be possible. In the event of such changes being made, you'll be liable for any cancellation charges
that may be levied for the previously booked service and for any costs incurred by us and our suppliers in attempting to
secure any revised arrangements. 4.3 You may cancel the booking at any time providing that the cancellation is made in
writing by the person who made the original booking. You will receive a refund of the amount paid (excluding any
insurance premiums and amendment charges) less the cancellation fees specified below: Days before 'Tour' start date
Cancellation fee as a % of Tour price* 60 days or more 25% of tour price (initial deposit) 30 days or more 75% of tour
price Less than 30 days or ‘no show’: 100% *Airline bookings are subject to airline companies’ own cancellation policies.
4.4 It is unlikely that we will have to amend your booking but we reserve the right to make any changes if deemed
necessary. Most of these changes are minor and we will advise you at the earliest possible date. Should a major change
(change more than 10% of the tour price, itinerary change, omitting a destination) become necessary we will inform you
at the earliest opportunity. If you do not wish to accept the major change, you can book an alternative tour at the
current advertised price upon which we shall make a refund in respect of any price difference or you can cancel the tour
and receive a full refund of the price. Our liability in such a case is limited to a return to you of any amounts you have
paid to us. 4.5 It is possible that the requested accommodation may not be suitable or available before booking, after
booking or upon your arrival for reasons beyond our control. If this happens, we will endeavor to provide
accommodation of at least the same standard. If similar standard accommodation is not available we may offer you
higher standard accommodation and advise you the surcharge that is payable by you. If you do not wish to accept
surcharge, we may offer accommodation of a lower standard upon which we shall make a refund in respect of any price
difference. 4.6 We are not responsible for changes which arise as a result of situations outside of our control including
but not limited to acts of God, war or threat of war, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disaster, terrorist
activity, fire, adverse or Page 4 of 5 unsuitable weather conditions, technical or maintenance problems with means of
transportation, changes imposed by re-scheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline. 4.7 We reserve the right to
cancel or re-schedule any tour/holiday arrangement in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances
beyond our control. If we cancel your tour (for reasons other than your nonpayment) any time prior to your departure,
our only liability will be to refund you the amount we have received for the tour booking. 5. Our Liability: 5.1 We accept
responsibility for making arrangements for the tour services described in the booking confirmation document we send
to you. We are neither a carrier nor a provider of accommodation; the carriers, hotels and other suppliers providing tour
services are our independent contractors only. You agree that neither Bespoke Morocco nor its affiliates shall be liable
for any damage or loss including personal injury, death, property loss, delay, change in air services, sickness, strike, war,
quarantine, terrorism, bankruptcy, weather, upset, disappointment, inconvenience, or expense occasioned by any act or
omission of any supplier or person providing tour services. In the above cases, you will not be entitled to any refund. 5.2
It is your responsibility to procure necessary documentation such as passports, visas and health certificates where
required. 5.3 We reserve the right to accept or reject any person as a tour participant or to expel any tour participant
from the tour, should your behavior be such that it is likely in our reasonable opinion to cause distress, damage,
annoyance or danger to any other person. In such circumstances, you will not be entitled to any refund. 5.4 Airline
alternative equipment and routings are subject to change by the airline and will not result in any refunds. 5.5
Unfortunate risks of travel such as transportation failure (e.g. flight delays), loss of or damage to baggage, personal
effects, money or documents are outside our control and responsibility. 5.6 No refunds can be made for any unused
services. 5.7 Travelers with special needs need to be accompanied by a companion capable of providing all assistance
required, and we shall not be responsible for any special assistance. 6. Insurance: We strongly recommend you to
purchase travel insurance against cancellation charges, unexpected interruption of your holiday, medical expenses
arising overseas, loss or damage to luggage, personal liability etc. 7. Complaints: We will do our best to ensure your
satisfaction but if you have a complaint then you must report it immediately to Bespoke Morocco so we can endeavor to
solve the problem. If your complaint is not resolved locally, you should advise us in writing within 30 days of Page 5 of 5
the incident. Our responsibility is subject to your timely action to provide us the opportunity to investigate the matter
and resolve the problem while you are on the tour. 8. Privacy Policy: We respect your privacy. We will use your personal
information only for tour booking and will not disclose the details and information provided by you to any third party
unless it is specifically required to do so by law or in response to a valid, legal request by a law enforcement or
governmental authority. 9. Miscellaneous: 9.1 While every effort has been made to ensure that the information is
correct, Bespoke Morocco cannot be held responsible for printing or typographical errors, or errors arising from
unforeseen circumstances. We reserve the right to re-issue all documents/invoices we deliver to you in case we discern
inaccuracy due to computer or human error. 9.2 The invalidity of any of the provisions hereof shall not affect the validity
of any of the other provisions, and the contract shall be construed as though such invalid provision had never been
contained herein. 9.3 Any copyright, trade-marks or other Intellectual Property Rights contained in our brochures,
website or other material shall belong to us unless otherwise stated.
