The word .. ‘ Anapanasati ’ .. in Pali language, means .. to direct one’s total attention and awareness
only on one’s normal, natural breathing process.

In ‘ Anapanasati Meditation ’, attention of the
mind should constantly be on the breath. It is a
joyful oneness with the breath. No mantra is to be
chanted ! No form of any deity is to be entertained
in the mind ! Practices like kumbhaka .. HOLDING
THE BREATH, should never be attempted.

“ be-one-with ”
Any comfortable sitting posture can be taken.
Hands should be clasped .. and eyes should be
closed. The crux of the matter is to resist the
routine wanderings of the mind. Thoughts should
be cut right away, as and when they keep arising.
A thought-free mind is the goal.
When we are with the breath-energy, the mind becomes rather empty.
Then, there is a tremendous in-flow of cosmic energy into the physical body.
Gradually, the hitherto dormant third-eye becomes activated .. and, by and by,
cosmic consciousness is experienced.

Anapanasati Meditation alone gives Spiritual Health to a person.
Meditation is the greatest gift to be given to our lives .. by our own efforts.

Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada appeared in this
world in the year 1896 in Calcutta. He first met his spiritual master,
Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura, in Calcutta in the year
1922, who convinced him to dedicate his life to teaching Vedic
knowledge. Prabhupada wrote a commentary on the BhagavadGita.He started “ Back to God-head ”, an English fortnightly
magazine in the year 1944. Prabhupada edited the magazine,
typed the manuscripts, checked the galley proofs, and even
distributed the individual copies single-handedly.
Prabhupada retired from married life in the year 1950 and adopted the vanaprastha.
Prabhupada began work on his life’s translation of the eighteen-thousand-verse “ SrimadBhagavatam ”. And he also wrote “ Easy Journey to other Planets ”. After publishing
three volumes of the Bhagavatam, Prabhupada went to USA in the year 1965. Prabhupada
established the International Society for Krishna Consciousness .. ISKCON, in the year
1966. His writings have been translated into over fifty languages. The Bhaktivedanta Book
Trust was established in the year 1972.
Prabhupada’s life details, experiences and teachings were compiled by members
of ISKCON from his lectures, conversations, interviews and letters written by him. A few
excerpts from the book “ Srila Prabhupada Lilamrta .. As It Is ”.

and religious movement that began in India about five hundred

Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is thus a figure of great
historical significance. Sri Krsna Chaitanya is a personality
who transcends the limited scope of historical settings.
Chaitanya teaches the science of Krishna consciousness.

so far is due in large part to the efforts of A. C. Bhaktivedanta

Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was born in
Mayapur, West Bengal, India, during an eclipsed
moon on the evening of February 18th, 1486.
Chaitanya’s father was Jagannath Misra, a poor
Brahman and his mother was Sachi Devi.
At the age of eight, he was instructed by
Gangadas Pandit and within two years he was
well versed with Sanskrit grammar. His father
Jagannath Misra was a pandit himself and young
Chaitanya would study his father’s books.
Chaitanya was a beautiful child with a golden
complexion. The ladies of Mayapur called him
“ Gaurahari ” because of the golden color of his
complexion. Like golden sunshine he was radiant.
His mother referred to him as “ Nimai ” because
he was born near a Neem tree.
After Chaitanya had reached his tenth year,
his brother had accepted the order of sannyasa
and had left home. Not long after that incident,
his father left this world and just as young
Chaitanya had consoled his mother when his
brother had left to take sannyasa, so too did he
console her after his father’s departure.
He entered school in his fifth year and easily
learned to speak Bengali in a very brief time.
Whenever the baby Chaitanya would cry
continuously the neighbor women and his mother
would yell “ Haribol ” ! At this sound he would
immediately stop. There were always echos of
“ Haribol ” within his home.

During his teens, he was considered an
expert scholar and his expertise in Sanskrit and
Nyaya philosophy was intimidating to the other

seeing his mother, Chaitanya fell at her feet and
exclaimed : “ Mother ! This body is yours and I
must obey your orders. Permit me to go to
Vrindavan for my spiritual attainments ”. After a
consultation with Advaita and others present, she
asked him to reside in Jagannatha Puri, so that
she could obtain information from him, time to
time. This he agreed to.

At the age of sixteen, Chaitanya travelled to

there that he took spiritual initiation from Iswara

many as “ Krishna Chaitanya ”.
His mission was to spread the glories of the

represents love and
devotion to God
Krishna.
In his twenty fourth year, Chaitanya took the
vow of sannyasa and upon renouncing material
ties, he embraced a greater wealth of the world
of Lord Krishna and a life exemplified as a perfect
devotee of God. He radiated love for Sri Sri Radha
and Krishna. After his taking of the vows of
sannyasa, He travelled to Santipur to the house
of “ Advaitacharya ”. Advaita invited many friends
and admirers of Chaitanya and even brought
Sachi Devi to see her son.
Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu spent the last
eighteen years of his appearance in this world in
Puri at the home of Kasi Misra.
As a sannyasi, Sri Krishna Chaitanya wore
only an outer covering. His head was shaved and
he carried a danda and a kamandalu. Upon

“ my yearning for truth ”
I never worked for money and I worked only
for the inner passion. Still, my salary reached two
lakh INR equivalent per month from a starting
salary of 700 INR per month. However, I was in
search for something that was eluding me. After
having settled my younger siblings into proper
jobs, I resigned my job with Cognizant US and
came back to India. In all my travails, after coming
back to India, I touched upon several facets of life
and relations which I have not explored earlier
while in the job. I toured all the relatives and all
my child-hood places.
I was born in

in Warangal as an elder
son to Sudhakar and

father was an Executive Engineer in Irrigation
Department by profession, Homeopathic Doctor
and a small time Writer by interest.
I am a Computer Science Engineer, a
graduate from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological
University, Hyderabad.
I went to several Spiritual Societies and finally
found what I was searching for in the PSSM
Ecosystem. I may be the one who best utilized
the PSSM Ecosystem by listening to the
perceptions and experiences of almost all the
PSSM Masters. There was this time when I never
used to miss Patri Sir’s class that may happen
anywhere in the City of Hyderabad.

“ my grandfather’s influence ”
My grandfather Kamineni Venkata Rama Rao
Garu was an erstwhile Freedom Fighter and a

close associate of Gandhiji who later won laurels
from Indian Prime Minister. He donated all his
possessions to Gandhiji at Kasinatha Nageswar
Rao’s house and went ahead with Gandhiji for
the Freedom Struggle. He was my first friend after
parents and used to take me to his village for
every school holiday. He has sown the seeds of
courage, service and love towards mother land
in my child-hood.

My younger brother happened to conduct a
program at my apartment by Brahmarshi Patriji
in whose discourse I came to know about the three
laws in the Science of Meditation. I then got clarity

It so happened that while I was coordinating
the New Age Doctor ’s Association’s first
Conference in Hyderabad, I came in touch with
some of the great Indian Alternative Medicine
Therapists and I had personal discussions with
all of them regarding the Meditation Techniques.
Especially discussions with Dr. Kochu Pillai and
Dr. Sandeep Bhasin had given me good insight
on the physiological and mental effects of the
Meditation Techniques.
“ ardent book buyer ”
While I was studying 3rd standard, when for
the first time I had done a Siddi Samadhi Yoga
(SSY) course, that was the first time ever I thought
about the purpose of life. Subsequently, I was
introduced to Transcendental Meditation (TM) while
I was studying 7th class.
I was an ardent book buyer right from my
child-hood. Whenever I had money, I used to buy
books ! I feel good when my mom says : “ The
only property that you had earned all through your
working years are these books ”. Even now, when
one enters my home anyone can mistake my
home for a library as one finds hundreds of books
in the shelves and of course many in the boxes.
Patriji in his wonderful inaugural lecture in
this Conference, segregated the sciences into
Physical Sciences, Intent Science, Energy
Science and Soul Science which added more
clarity to my quest. I then started rigorously
practicing and evaluating the Meditation
techniques based on this segregation. I read
several research papers and after several
personal experiences I finally closed in on the
Anapanasathi Meditation .
“ my younger brother is my Guru ”
When I was seventeen years old, Jose
Silva’s ‘ The Silva Mind Control Method ’ book had
influenced me to practice that technique along
with a Vajrasana. Then I was introduced to
Anapanasathi Meditation in the year 2003 by
Achyutha Prabodh, my younger brother, who is
now in USA. I consider my younger brother as
my Guru.
“ hours of deep meditation ”
Patri Sir, in one of his discourses told that
we are all “ Sat-Chit-Ananda swaroopas ”. I
explored and experienced several aspects of
being Eternity, Wisdom and Bliss, with several
hours of deep meditation. I further understood the
God-hood and inner beauty and ways to it.
Initially, I did not practice it seriously as I was
trying to find the scientific basis and I also was
experimenting with the other Meditation
techniques. In this search, I had practiced
Goenka’s Vipassana, Viswas Meditation, Yoga,
Brahma Kumari’s Meditation, Kriya Yoga, Nada

Everything around started seeming very
beautiful, even the grains of the sand and stains
on the walls. I wanted to know further, at which
time the Seth Books by Jane Roberts helped me
to realize my multi-dimensional nature. This

process took over a period of three years while
exploring and living several aspects of real nature.

My feel good factor about PYMA occurred
during the first programme which I attended. My
brother, whom I have known to be such a shy
and hesitant person started speaking well on the
stage ! Another PYMA Master, Soumya, gave a
party for attaining his Buddha-hood ! I got a very
good circle of positive thinkers as my friends !
“ meditational experiences ”
I would classify my Meditation experiences
at four levels .. Body, Mind, Intellect and Soul. At
my physical body level, I was able to become slim
with an intent to become so. Meditation increased
my mind power to a level that I have done some
tough certifications in a very record time. I am a
Sun Certified Enterprise Architect, IBM Certified
Business Process Analyst and got 20 such
Software Certifications from IBM, Sun
Microsystems, Brain Bench and Red Hat.
In the year 2004, during Dhyana Yagnam, in
Hyderabad, an youngster whom I hardly
remembered came and asked me if it was the
same belt that I was wearing in the earlier trekking
program. Another youngster whom I did not even
remember that we ever met in a trekking program,
she remembered me and even my friend’s name
in the conversation we had. I was so very
impressed at the kind of observation and memory
power, the PYMA masters have got. Similarly,
selfless service towards spirituality by Jeevan and
his family members had inspired me primarily to
become part of PYMA.
Meditation expanded my intellect to take
some courageous decisions, after several
metaphysical experiences of the Soul especially
in the Mega Pyramid at Pyramid Valley, Bengaluru.
I had many glimpses of time travel, watching full
length third-eye visions etc.
“ trekking experience ”
With my brother’s inspiration, I took time to
attend a trekking in Annavaram and Narsipatnam.
Although I was an ardent nature lover from my
child-hood, this trekking opened new avenues into
my nature discovery. I was stunned by the kind of
places and ashrams.
My brother Prabodh always used to ask me
“ Why don’t you take a Meditation
Class ? ” I used to tell him that I need at least
2000 people in the audience if I have to take a
class. Synchronously, I coordinated the first PYMA
program on stage at
Annavaram with 2000

Now, I have evolved
myself to the stage
where I can speak with

astonished to see some
old aged people and
physically challenged
people trekking happily
in the company of
Patri Sir !

“ learning experiences in PYMA ”
Each PYMA Master is expected to live up to
these aims and objectives.
I feel that I already learnt things equivalent to
four life times by being a part of PYMA. I always
was in a position to donate money for right causes
and did so. But, for conducting Oneness
Meditation launch program, when I sought money
from people to do the Event, it helped me to test
my self and come out of my ego.
“ Embodiment of Awareness - Patri Sir ”
Trekking was the first opportunity to see Patri
Sir. He seemed a little different, but did not make
any lasting impression in the first meet. Even if
there was Patriji’s talk in between, I did not attend
it. Rather I was enjoying the nature and the
company of a few other youngsters.
Co-ordinating the Balabhavan event,
Oneness Meditation, Karma Yoga &
Enlightenment Workshop and National Level
Vegetarian Rally at Vijaywada gave me immense
learning experiences in different aspects. Each
and every PYMA member is giving me an
opportunity to learn from them. Every moment, I
am learning and
evolving to be a
different person
which is more and
more facilitated by
being in PYMA.
Gradually, when I began to understand the
Pyramid Spiritual Societies Movement (PSSM) ..
its principles and the environment built by Patri
Sir for human evolution and also number of New
Age spiritual books read by him .. I was just
awestruck ! Thereafter, I started listening to him
without missing a
single opportunity to
relish the simplicity
and strikingness in
his discourses.

Patri Sir when I was
travelling with him
from Hyderabad to
Bengaluru. Patri Sir
is an hundred
percent embodiment of Awareness. His style of
taking control and letting go is awesome. Each

I realized that observation happens in the
present moment, and so being with breath always
keeps any one in the present moment. And in the
present moment one can be free from the mind
activity. I understood the relevance and
significance of the terms .. ‘ Energy ’,
‘ Consciousness ’, ‘ Wisdom ’ .. how they are
interlinked. I started understanding about life,
living the life and being with each moment. And
all this could happen only because of meditation.

I was introduced to
meditation in the year 2000
by my uncle Late Sri Badari Narayana. I am
indeed grateful to him for this marvelous gift.
I could experience a pure relaxed state for
the first time only in meditation. I experienced true
silence. I watched my thoughts, my beliefs, my
actions and my reactions to situations, observed
my feelings, and how my mind responds to my
feelings. I understood the difference between
‘ thinking ’ and ‘ observing ’.
Our understanding about our own self
improves. We realize that we are creating
everything for ourselves .. consciously or

Only meditation can give us the true silence,
true peace, true joy and true acceptance. And
‘ BREATH ’ is the only key. Just by being with breath
one can awaken the observer in one’s self. And
we realize that we are not just a thinker. We start
seeing things as they are. We understand things
with greater clarity. Just by being with breath,
which always happens in the ‘ NOW ’, we master
the art of being in the ‘ PRESENT ’ and thus we
experience the true ‘ BEING ’. All these never
happened to me before meditation. I started
enjoying these benefits which are undoubtedly are
true fruits of Meditation.
When I was taught meditation, I never
thought it was so powerful. Just because it was
simple, I thought it was not all that great. But I
realized soon that though it is simple, yet it is the
most effective and essential thing.
I enjoyed practicing meditation, reading good
spiritual books, sharing experiences with friends
and other meditators, participating in group
meditation sessions etc., till the year 2003. There
after, I have started introducing meditation to as
many as I could.
Meditation brought lot of changes in me. I was
altogether a different person before knowing
meditation .. very restless and a hyperactive
individual. I could never concentrate on anything
consistently. My mind was very fickle. I faced lot
of problems because of my uncontrolled mind.
This affected my studies, my career, my
relationships and also my idea about own self.

unconsciously. And once we understand this, we
start mastering ‘ conscious creating ’. There is a
great deal of learning involved here and we enjoy
every bit of this learning.
Today, with the help of PYMA advisors like
A.Srilakshmi and A.V.Sai Kumar Reddy, PYMA is
becoming global ! All the Pyramid Masters have
always given their best to energize PYMA in every
way ! With all this immense support, PYMA is
growing stronger and stronger by the day and is
conducting Meditation programmes everywhere,
not leaving any educational institution or corporate
office untouched.
Only meditation can make us live like Gods.
And only Gods can create heaven. There is
nothing more important than Meditation at this
point of time on the earth. And all those who are
meditating and who are spreading meditation are
doing the most apt work.
We, PYMA members, learn a lot from each
other, inspire and encourage each other. We are
happy that PYMA is no more a small group ! Such
energetic and dynamic happy masters
(HAP’PYMA’STERS) are spread all over the world.
And each such member is committed to
spiritualize the whole world. I can confidently say
that PYMA will be the best Youth Association in
the near future.

its amazing guiding principles has everything that
an individual needs for his personal and spiritual
progress. One should be proud of being a Pyramid

Initially, in the budding stages of PYMA, I enjoyed
working with young masters like Jeevan, Hari,
Prabodh, Soumya, Chandana and Pranitha who
gave a great start to PYMA.

Anapanasati Meditation which is not only the
simplest but also the most effective meditation
method. Every one can enjoy its benefits.

Senior pyramid masters like madam Nirmala
Devi, Swarnamala Patri, Tirunagari Vani and many
others have helped us greatly in conducting PYMA
programmes initial. And now, with a dynamic
young leader Pradeep and other team members
like Anand, Bhagavadgita, Konda Reddy .. I am
thoroughly enjoying my role as General Secretary
of PYMA. Together with other executive members,
we all are set to accomplish the task of
spiritualizing the youth world by 2012.
I thank one and all who is taking part in the
great spiritual revolution .. PSSM .. for their individual
contributions, teamwork and group efforts.
I am grateful to Patriji for his immense
guidance and encouragement being given to

I am Shiv Jain.
I hail from Ludhiana
City of Punjab, Northern
India. With over sixteen
years into business and
working as a Marketing
Head in an organization, my
job involves constant
travelling within India and
and learnt that if only we could achieve a thoughtfree stage of mind, we can stay away from all
worries and anxieties. Regular practice of
meditation not only helps us to gain more energy
but also help us to control our mind, so that, we
focus only on the things that really matter.
My interest towards Yoga, Pranayam and
Meditation started since last two years. My interest
in reading books on spirituality also started
increasing. Yoga and Pranayam, did benefit my
health to some extent.
However, I always felt something missing. I
always feel exhausted by the end of the day. I
observed that I was always busy, thinking about
past or worrying of future, about business
expansion, about more money, about new home,
about children’s future, about principles of life,
about new cars, about movies, about people,
about circumstances etc., etc. These thoughts,
most of which are worthless, were consuming
all my energy.
I always used to say that my ultimate aim is
to achieve happiness in life. Then, one day, like a
ray of light, it appeared to me that happiness is
nothing but a state of mind. If I wanted to achieve
happiness, I could be happy today itself. If I wanted
to be calm, I could have been calm this very
minute. Who other than me can help me get it !!!.
Learning about Patriji and his principles
made me quite curious to meet him. But, I could
not meet Patriji for the next six months inspite of
Patirji’s two visits to Ludhiana, because, I was
away on overseas tour. During this time, however,
I read quite a lot about Patriji and his teachings. I
also read books of Tuesday Lobsang Rampa
“ You Forever ” and “ Third-Eye ”, the
“ Conversations with God ” and “ Home with
God ” by Neale Donald Walsch besides several
other books. My curiosity to meet Patriji kept
growing but somehow I was not getting closer to
it. Then one day, I had to organize a trip to Chennai
and Bangalore. As I had already learnt about
Maitreya – Buddha Pyramid, I decided to go over
there and try to experience meditation there.
This shifted my focus towards learning the
techniques for how to stay calm, happy and
worriless. It is during this time, I came in contact
with Pyramid Spiritual Societies Movement (PSSM)

On one Sunday, we, myself along with my
wife and my sister, decided to visit Pyramid
Meditation Centre in Ludhiana .. about which I
learnt from my sister only a week ago. Having
arrived there, I met Madam Rachna Gupta for the
first time, who also happens to be my sister’s
sister in law. She explained us about the benefits
of meditation and advised us to sit in meditation
for at least thirty minutes.
I didn’t feel anything worth mentioning in that
first sitting but Rachna Madam observed my aura
and told me about the same. She gave me two
books to read and learn more about it. She told
me that if I regularly practice meditation I could
have amazing experiences.

I enjoy an upper middle class life with all
material comforts. Yet, I had a lot of stress, worries
and anxieties resulting at times in health related
problems.
Then came, the day when I reached
Bangalore. I had contact details of Satya Madam

with him face to face !
and it was quite great on her part that she and
her husband Mr. Raj Shekhar drove me down to
Pyramid Valley which took almost one and half
hour to reach there. By the time we reached there,
it was close to 8:00 pm and due to power cut it
was dark all around. My idea of trying to practice
meditation in the pyramid seemed fading away.
Suddenly, Satya Madam suggested me to stay
overnight in the Valley and do the meditation in
the morning along with Paradesi Naidu and reach
back to my hotel by 8:30 am.
He first listened to my experiences of the
Mega Pyramid and how I came into meditation,
then he proposed me to practice meditation for
fifteen minutes while he played flute for me !
After that he made me sit close to him and
chatted with me for about half an hour before
accompanying me for the dinner just to sit by my
side. I was sincerely impressed by the simplicity
and greatness of this master who had influenced
me so much even
before I had met him.
Mr. Naidu was a
great company indeed
and that’s how I got an
opportunity
to
experience meditation
in the King’s Chamber
of the Mega Pyramid
from 3:00 am to 6:00
am. This was an
unforgettable
experience for me ! I
experienced severe
jerks in my body as if
there was an earthquake ! Later, I understood that
those were the movements of astral body ! I was
electrified with such an experience that I could
never have imagined otherwise !
Before going to
bed, Patriji asked me
to join him for the
meditation session in
the morning from 6:00
to 7:00 am. That
session was another
thrilling experience for
me following which
Patriji told me that I
was supposed to help
him spread the seeds of meditation around the
world to benefit the mankind. I was already
speechless and this made me surrender my
thoughts too !
Following this, I had another opportunity to
stay with Patriji for four to five days on Amarnath
Yatra along with a group of 190 pyramid masters.
This was yet another experience for me and I was
privileged to meet and stay in company of many
great masters from Southern India.
I spoke to my sister about it over phone and
wished if I could meet Patriji also over there. To
my surprise, she told me that Patriji was in Delhi
and since I was also flying to Delhi the same day
I could meet him during the same night. At that
point of time, I could not have expected anything
better ! By the time I reached Patriji, it was already
10:30 pm. Usually it was his time to rest so I
expected him to spend four to five minutes with
me, if possible, and guide me something to help
me advance ahead.
On our flight back to Delhi from Srinagar, I
discussed with Patriji on various aspects of life,
meditation, spirituality etc. His conceptual clarity
and ease of expression is so remarkable that all
those clouds of doubts were scattered away and
I could see things more clearly. This is how I have
initiated my journey of self-awareness.
Patriji’s electrifying personality, his
eloquence of speech and aura was such that I
