The Scottish Borders is one of Scotland’s loveliest regions, known for
its gentle hills, beautiful river valleys, dramatic coast and easy pace
of life. It’s also home to Scotland’s historic textile towns, built around
soft waters and nature’s glorious colours to inspire our designers.
T

and Peebles produce some of the world’s finest tartans, tweeds and
cashmere. Their iconic brands and products are found in the best
international boutiques, but you can also find them right here, in
our high streets and factory outlets.
You’ll also find romantic ruined abbeys, historic houses, fishing,
golf, horse-riding, unique festivals and culture, excellent eateries and
accommodation, and the friendliest welcome in Scotland. Whatever
the time of year, the Scottish Borders’ special magic will leave you
relaxed, restored, and coming back for more.
