It is hard to believe that the fall season is upon us, and that soon we will be contemplating the end of the year and closing procedures. In spite of one of the wettest years on record, most of our region continues to benefit from very good weather and what we anticipate to be a long golf season, that hopefully extends as close to Thanksgiving (if not beyond) as possible. brand new product. Full warranty is available from time of delivery. For any customer that already knows that they require certain pieces, demo equipment is a good opportunity to capitalize on 2015 pricing that is significantly discounted. Special financing terms can be arranged to delay payments on this equipment until spring of 2016. The end of the season is a very good time for golf courses to assess what kind of year their business has just had, and to contemplate in advance of next year’s opening what equipment is required. We are also excited to be taking delivery of and delivering to our first several customers, the new Jacobsen Heavy Duty Utility Vehicle. The entire Jacobsen organization is excited to continue the Cushman/Jacobsen tradition of industry leading utility vehicles with this new product. 2015 inventory is sometimes discounted, and demonstration equipment is sometimes available at this time of the season. We look forward to continuing to earn your business and to see you in the closing weeks of the season. At Turfwerks, we have several key pieces of equipment in our demonstration fleet that have less than 50 hours that we will dispose of prior to the end of the season. This equipment is virtually brand new, and is discounted significantly over Continued success and best wishes. Serving as a replacement for the venerable Cushman Turf-Truckster, the all new Truckster XD sets new standards for capacity, power, strength and comfort. For starters, the new Truckster XD boasts a massive, class-leading 3,550 lb. standard payload capacity, supported by the toughest bed in the industry, with steel up to 75% thicker than comparable boxes and 20% more volume. Jacobsen’s new utility vehicle also leads under the hood, where it again is at the head of its class with the gas model providing 32.5 HP and 51.6 ft.-lbs. of torque and the diesel 24.8 HP and 52.7 ft.-lbs. of torque. Don’t search for deals! Send an email with your name and course name to Turfwerks@ Turfwerks.com and we will add you to our email list, plus enter you for a chance to win a $50 Visa® Gift Card. Winner will be drawn Oct. 31st. Although the new Truckster XD was built to handle the daily rigors of a maintenance crew, Jacobsen engineers also put a priority on comfort, giving the cabin 25% more room than the competition. Turfwerks has provided demonstrations of the new Truckster XD to various courses, and superintendents have taken notice of the enhanced features. Jacobsen started this project by asking hundreds of superintendents what they wanted from a heavy-duty utility vehicle, and the response was unanimous: more capacity, power and comfort. The Truckster is currently in production, with the units having an anticipated delivery date of October 2015. For more information, and specs on the new Truckster, visit our website at www.
