single game, single season, and career assist records. He played at both Parkland Junior College and
MacMurray College. Roustio has played or coached a winning team at every level of competition. In 29
years as either a player, assistant coach or head coach, Roustio has been a part of 11 seasons with 20-ormore victories, as well as earning 33 tournament championships and two upset wins over the #1 ranked
team in the nation.
During his tenure as an assistant coach at Collinsville High School, the Kahoks (under Bob Bone’s
leadership) had a 239-122 record and five 20-win seasons, as well as seven Southwestern Conference titles

in Trout Gymnasium during the IHSA regional. After his 2005-06 squad won the Murphysboro
Thanksgiving Tournament, the Bulldogs were ranked 9th in the Metro East area in the Belleville News
Democrat. Roustio’s sophomore guard was named St. Louis Post Dispatch player of the week (Feb. 10-11,
2006).
The 2006 PORTA summer basketball program finished with a record of 16-10. The Bluejays won 5 of 6
games at the Jacksonville/Illinois College Summer Slam.
