Sketches, glass fragments, fabric, plastic, and other materials have all been used function of personal taste. No system for translating color into glass.

Clear is more sensitive to defects (blister/seeds, chords, stones)
Periodic checks are made for coloration. Batch is decolorized with Yrbium.
All painted products begin as clear products
