Arrive in Buenos Aires / meet with your English speaking guide
Pick up and transfer to domestic airport to fly to Puerto Iguazú

Day 2 – Monday, February 22nd : Iguazú – B
Morning: Iguazú Forest – Trekking into the tropical jungle to discover the flora and fauna, the ecosystem. You will touch
and feel the sounds of the jungle.
Return to the hotel for lunch.
In the late afternoon we will take a boat to navigate the Paraná and Iguazú rivers. Enjoy the landscape with drinks and live
music on board.

Day 3- Tuesday, February 23rd : Iguazú - BL
Full day Iguazú Falls
The semicircular waterfall at the heart of this site is some 80 m high and 2,700 m in diameter and is situated on a basaltic
line spanning the border between Argentina and Brazil. Made up of many cascades producing vast sprays of water, it is
one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. The surrounding subtropical rainforest has over 2,000 species of vascular plants and is home to the typical wildlife of the region: tapirs, giant anteaters, howler monkeys, ocelots, jaguars and
caymans.

Day 4 – Wednesday, February 24th : Iguazú / Posadas – BL
Depart to Posadas, the capital city of Misiones Province.
Farm visit on road: yerba mate crops (typical local tea) and tropical fruits—Argentina, the main producer and consumer ,
grows around 130000 ha of maté in the northeast of the country (Misiones and Corrientes), which produce about 140000
tonnes per year.
Visit the Ruins of San Ignacio -These mission ruins are the most complete of those in Argentina and impress for the quantity of carved ornamentation still visible and for the amount of restoration done. No roofs remain, but many of the living
quarters and workshops have been re-erected.
First founded in 1610 in Brazil, but abandoned after repeated attacks by
slavers, San Ignacio was established at its present site in 1696 and functioned until the Jesuits finally gave in to the order of expulsion in 1768.
The ruins, rediscovered in 1897 and restored between 1940 and 1948, are
a great example of 'Guaraní baroque.' At its peak, the reducción had a
Guaraní population of nearly 4000.

Depart to Reconquista, in the northern region of the Santa Fe province
See different kind of crops: sugar cane, cotton, rice, corn, sunflower and visit a large grain farm

Day 7 - Saturday, February 27th: Reconquista / Rosario - BL
Morning visit to an agricultural Cooperative: “Unión Agrícola de Avellaneda”: meeting with directors, visit a storage
plants and talk about the organization.
Unión Agrícola de Avellaneda is the biggest cooperative in the region. It works with many agriculture productions
(soybean, wheat, sunflower, sorghum, corn, cotton, honey). They have 10 storage plants in different towns and provide

Depart to Rosario
Feedlot visit: this feedlot receives the cattle from the region, a semiarid area where most of the cattle are
rustic crossbreed

Day 8 – Sunday, February 28th : Rosario - B
Morning city tour of Rosario and boat tour across the Paraná River.
Rosario is the head city of the Rosario Department and is located at the
heart of the most important industrial corridor in Argentina. The city is a major railroad terminal and the shipping center
for northeastern Argentina. Ships reach the city via the Paraná River, which allows the existence of a 34-feet deep port.
The Port of Rosario is subject to silting and must be dredged periodically. Exports include wheat, flour, hay, linseed and
other vegetable oils, corn, sugar, lumber, meats, hides, and wool. Manufactures include flour, sugar, meat products, and
other foodstuffs. The Rosario-Victoria Bridge, opened in 2003, spans the Paraná River, connecting Rosario with the city of
Victoria across the Paraná Delta.
The Delta of the Paraná River is one of the largest coastal wetlands systems of Argentina, spreading over 320 km and covering a surface of 15000 km2. The Delta presents a variable width, from 18 Km up to 100 km, and according to landscape
parameters and hydrologic regimes, it presents more than 10 landscape units distributed in 3 zones: Superior, Medium
and Lower Delta. The Parana Delta is rich in biodiversity and natural resources and faces the pressures of urban growth
and the consequences of climate changes. It is a natural capital which represents a valuable benefit for the human population due to the ecosystem's goods and services.

The Rosario Board of Trade is a non-profit making association based in Rosario, in the Province of Santa Fe, Argentina.
Founded on August 18, 1884, it serves as a forum for the conduct of trade negotiations in several markets including
grain, oilseed, agricultural products and their by-products, as well as securities and other assets.
The Physical Grain Market of the BCR is the most important in Argentina in terms of its volume of operations, and provides reference prices for the national and international markets. Most of the country's production of cereals and
oilseeds is traded within it, especially soybean.
The region around Rosario contains the world’s largest concentrations oil seed crushing plant; and its ports handle more
than 90% of the Argentine export of soybean and its derivatives.
The Rosario Futures Exchange (ROFEX) has traditionally been a futures Exchange for commodities and, in more recent
times, for financial products such as exchange rate and interest rate options. Its negotiated volume (especially in forwards contracts over dollars) makes ROFEX the largest futures market in the country.
The Rosario Stock Exchange operates with stockholders dealing negotiable assets of all kinds. The Board of Trade additionally operates a complex of laboratories which analyze and provide quality certifications for samples of agricultural
products, soil and water.

The (ACA) is a cooperative of cooperatives founded on 16th. February, 1922. It has its headquarters in the city of Buenos Aires, and it comprises 160 primary cooperatives from 7 provinces. It has two fundamental objectives: The commercialization of the farming production, including industrialization and annexed services such as logistics, ports, financing,
among others and the provision of all inputs that farmers need for their activity.

Meeting with a farmers association – AAPRESID.
Topics: no till farming / precision agriculture.
AAPRESID means “Argentinean no till farming farmers association”. It has 1500 members divided in 33 groups along the
country. It promotes the no till farming system in Argentina and the region and organizes an important annual conference.
Farm visits: in the “zona núcleo” the best soils in Argentina. Visit a grail farm were soybean is the queen of the crops.
Opportunity to meet the farmer and see how he works on a daily basis.

Visit to Seeder factory plant: “Crucianelli” - www.crucianelli.com. One of the Argentinean companies that specializes in
no till farming seeders.
Farm visit: a large farm in the pampas with soybean and corn.

Morning visit Expoagro
The Expoagro exhibition is world recognized for its logistics display for machinery demonstrations in real working
conditions and for permitting the appreciation of all the virtues of the exhibited products.
It is the world’s greatest exhibition of this kind: on 700 hectares prepared with all crops, the field fills up with: seeders, fertilizers, sprayers, combines, irrigation equipment, baggers, mixers, balers, shredders, among other machinery
and implements; working in real conditions.
With an optimized design to facilitate tours and appreciate what companies and institutions have to offer, the wide
avenues and streets offer excellent infrastructure and accessibility conditions and over 400 stands that are visited by
150,000 people each year.
Afternoon Visit a Horse Ranch where you will find the “criollo”, the king of the pampas.
The criollo (Argentinean Horse) is a strong and rustic horse descended from Spanish horses and naturally adapted to
the pampas.The breed, known for its hardiness and stamina, is most popular as a working horse.
One example of the breed's fantastic endurance was the ride made by the Swiss-born Argentine rider Professor Aimé
Félix Tschiffely (1894–1954) between 1925-28.
Tschiffely took two crioulos, 16-year-old Mancha and 15-year-old Gato, on a 13,350 mile (21,500 km) trek from Buenos Aires to Manhattan, New York, crossing snow-capped mountains, the world's driest desert, the thickest tropical
jungles, riding in all types of weather. Alternating the riding and packing between the two horses, the trio took three
years to finish the trip.

Buenos Aires is the capital of Argentina and is where most cultural, political and economic activities take place. It is a
charming city with a strong influence from the most important cities of Europe. Beautiful walks, avenues and parks,
monumental buildings, typical restaurant, pavement cafes, churches and museums in 46 different regions – each with
its own personality. The north offers an elegant resemblance of Paris, with the May Avenue housing the most unforgettable coffee houses. In the shady streets of Belgrano one can taste the charm of the distinguished London suburbs
and Naples seems to be present in the bustling and coloured La Boca Quarter. Perhaps take a walk around Palermo
Park with its lagoon, gold fields, tennis courts and rose gardens.

San Telmo is the oldest neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is a well-preserved area of the Argentine metropolis and is characterized by its colonial buildings. Cafes, tango parlors and antique shops line the cobblestone streets,
which are often filled with artists and dancers. San Telmo's attractions include old churches, museums, antique stores
and a semi-permanent antique fair in the main public square, Plaza Dorrego.
Transfer to the international airport to take the flight to Canada
