Estelle Sunny Morning Breakfast
Sunny Morning Breakfast at Estelle is a great group social that
allows our centers’ members to enjoy a great breakfast, coffee
and treats with friends .
To join us for Estelle Sunny Morning Breakfast , please sign
up in advance at the front desk. Estelle Sunny Morning
Breakfast is every 1st Friday of the Month from 9am - 10am.
Estelle Sunny Morning Breakfast is no cost to members, however; for non member we request a donation of $2 for regular/
special meal.
We ask that all members and non members donate to the center whenever possible to ensure the continued viability of this
program.

Basic Computer and
Internet Classes
Looking to learn new or enhance existing computer
skills?
Estelle Senior Community Center is the right
place. Offering basic computer classes and internet safety education classes for Senior Citizens.
Explore the new world via the web!
Classes held every Tuesday and starts at 10am.
Diabetes Educational Class
Diabetes Education
The American Diabetes Association, Community
Education instructors, presented an educational
class based on diabetes nutrition to include food
portioning, healthy vs non healthy food, starchy
foods vs non starchy foods… Instructors also
presented the Seniors with a hearty lunch which
was also part of the educational class. The seniors had to use the information presented/
provided to them to portion their diabetes plate as
per the learning process… Our seniors did well as
some did the opposite… All in all the class was
educational, interactive and fun.
Transportation
Transportation is available to the Senior Center for
all members of Jefferson Council on Aging/ Estelle
Community Senior Center. Transportation is also
provided for all members of the Senior Center for
scheduled field trips by Jefferson Parish Transit
Services.

Crochet project and class at Estelle Community Senior
Center every other Wednesday for Advanced Crocheting
starting at 10 am
Crochet projects and classes are fun and creatively fun.
Learn to read new patterns, stitches and more.
Crochet items that are functional for every day usage,
hats, scarfs, bedroom slippers, doilies, coin purses, headband, baby blankets and lots more.

RECREATIONAL BINGO
Estelle Community Senior Center offers our
senior members a great place to play recreational bingo.
We offer a our members a great bingo experience with a healthy lunch.
Bingo begins at 12noon to 2:30pm Lunch is
at 1pm.
