B-He n DJ and television/radio personality Brian Henry is affectionately known to partygoers and clients across the world as B-Hen. Emerging as one of the hottest young DJs, B-Hen has made his mark as a resident DJ on ABC’s Good Morning America in New York City, The SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, and while on an international tour with Grammy Award-winning recording artist, Estelle. B-Hen’s vibrancy and unique music selection was cultivated as a “military brat”, growing up in distinct places such as Germany, Hawaii, and Baltimore. After graduating from Morehouse College, he declined a full-time offer to work on Wall Street, and instead went on to lead West Coast Entertainment Sponsorships and Music Marketing for Verizon. Walking away from a corporate America, B-Hen honed his skills at Los Angeles’ renowned Scratch DJ Academy. He’s since performed for an ever-growing list of high-profile clients and events, including Pharrell, Usher, Queen Latifah, Sundance Film Festival, New York Fashion Week, Harvard Business School, and as the DJ for the untimely final performance of Whitney Houston. B-Hen has most recently musically illustrated CAA’s Annual Holiday Party, The 46th Annual NAACP Image Awards, and at Club Shari Vari in Rome, Italy. He’s landed in the heart of homes across the country while DJing on BET’s famed 106 & Park and as a standout contestant on America’s premiere DJ competition show, VH1’s Master of the Mix. The Legendary DJ Kid Capri dubbed B-Hen the “Diddy of DJing” – likening B-Hen’s showmanship, talent and propensity to dance while he’s rocking out in the DJ booth to that of Sean “P-Diddy” Combs. B-Hen has also devoted his life to another passion: raising awareness and helping to eradicate breast cancer. In 2014, B-Hen launched his non-profit, Beats to Beat Breast CancerTM. Losing his mother, Tracy, to a vicious 14-month battle with the disease in 2002, B-Hen honors her legacy by hosting this multi-city, music-based event and enlisting his celebrity DJ friends to lend their musical talents to beat breast cancer. For B-Hen, it’s more than just about mixing music. It’s about leading a purpose-filled life as a music curator and sharing his passion for music with people across the world.
