QUICK SET UP TIPS
Default Logins
• Login: 888888 Password: Default {Local Administrator Only}
• Login: admin Password: Default {Remote & Local
Administrator}
• Login: 666666 Password: Default {Remote & Local User with
limited access}
• In the event of a forgotten password. Please call 281-201-6611
to reset password.
To Add/Delete User Account
• Click MAIN MENU / ADVANCED / ACCOUNT
Turn On/Off Abnormality Beeping “Health Check”
• Click MAIN MENU / ADVANCED / ABNORMALITY
To Search Recorded Video
• Click MAIN MENU / SEARCH
• Top Right Calendar – Select the day you want to playback
• Toward the bottom right – Select Playback View Mode [1 4 8 16
View]
• Hover the mouse on the timeline, click once to playback
• Playback can be fast forward or rewind
• Playback must be stop before changing different View Mode
To Backup Recorded Video
• Click MAIN MENU / BACKUP
• Select your flash media, then click Backup
• File format DAV with built-in Player.exe (Playback on
computer with player.exe software)
• File format ASF can be played with windows media player
without the built-in player.exe
To Setup PTZ Camera
• Click MAIN MENU / SETTING / PAN/TILT/ZOOM
To Change the Camera Name
• Click MAIN MENU / SETTING / DISPLAY

Download VMS Software
• Access web browser http://www.coreveillance.com
• Click on Support/Dealers
• Click to download Coreveillance VMS software
Add DVR to VMS software

Install and launch VMS software.
Click Setup button on top left.
Click Add IP Devices button on bottom right.
Check “Dahua Embedded/IPC”
Device Name: {Can be any name you assign}
IP/URL Address: { static IP or DDNS name}
Device Port: 37777 {if you have two or more DVR you must
change to 47777, 57777}
Device Username: default {admin}
Device Password: default {admin}
Stream Type: Main-Stream for high quality video, Sub-stream
for average quality video.
Click OK to Add
SECTION 1: SET UP
• Launch the VMS software
• Click on the Setup Icon to access the Setup Menu.
• This is the Setup Menu. From here, we can begin
adding users to the program.
• Click on User Manager to begin the process of adding
users.
• Click the “Add” button to bring up the new user screen.
• In this pop-up window, you can create new username and password. You can add a note to describe the user account, but this
is optional. Once finished, click ok.
• After you have added your user, you must click on the red X to
exit.
SECTION 2: ADD DEVICES
• Launch the VMS software
• Click on the Setup Icon to access the Setup Menu.
• Click on Add/Del Devices to begin the process of adding DVRs.
• Click on Add IP Devices
• First Step, name your DVR Device
• Second step, enter the IP Address of the chosen
store’s DVR (the IP address will be provided by
Coreveillance)
• Third step, Click the OK button to add the device.
• Device will show up in this list. Device is configured properly if
the Column “State” says OK.
• Click the Red X to exit Device Setup and return to main screen.
• Select your DVR by clicking on it.
• Click on the + symbol to see the camera icon.
• Figure 1: Click on the + symbol to see the camera list.
• Figure 2: Double click on Connect All to put the
cameras on your screen.

• All of the active cameras will show up on your screen.
• All of the cameras on the screen will be highlighted in
green.
• You can move the camera images to different places
by left click and holding the image and dragging it to
where you want it on the screen
• You can change the layout of the cameras by clicking
one of the icons in the red circle.
• Figure 1: Once the cameras are positioned where you
want them on the screen, click on Group.
• Figure 2: Double click on Add Current to Group.

• Type in a name for your group
• Click on the empty boxes next to Full screen on Startup & Auto Connect on Boot
• Click the OK button when finished
• This screen indicates the Group was created
successfully.
• Click the OK button when finished
SECTION 3:
on-site DVR PLAYBACK
• Right click any where on the main page to access the
drop down menu
• Select Main Menu, a System Login window will
prompt.
• The default password will be the same as the username.
For example:
Username: 666666
Password: 666666
• Select “Search”
• After selecting Search, this screen will appear. Refer to
the VMS Playback for detailed instruction.
SECTION 4:
REMOTE VMS PLAYBACK
• Click on the Playback Button
• Click on the Drop down box arrow
• Select your DVR from the drop down menu
• First, select the date you would like to playback.
• Second, select where you want to display the camera
by clicking on a rectangle (it will highlight in a thin red
line).
• Third, choose which camera you want to display by
clicking the numbered blue buttons at the bottom.
• Fourth, select what time of day you would like to play.
Repeat steps for each camera (up to 4) you would like to
playback.
SECTION 5: BACK-UP
• To create a backup file of your video, you would need
to mouse over the “Backup By Time,” which will bring
up a secondary window. In this window, you will select
your current DVR to be backed up.
• Select the cameras you want to backup
• Select the times you want to backup
• Change “convert to” to AVI so this format can play on
any PC.
• Hitting start will back up your file to the path you have
selected. It is ready to save, send, or store.
SECTION 6: MOBILE APPS
STANDARD CONFIGURATION
1. Run your App Store app.
2. Under the tab Search, type in:
•For iPhone - iDMSS Lite
•For iPad - iDMSS HD
•For Android phone - gDMSS Lite
•For Android tablet - gDMSS HD
3. Select the appropriate app and tab “Free” to install.
4. Once the installation is completed, the button will
change to “Open”. Tab “Open” to go to the app.
5. Once you are in the App, tab the top left button to enter
setup menu
6. Tab “Device Manager”
7. To add a site, tab the “+” button on top right
8. Tab on Register Mode and select “IP/Domain”
9. Fill out the information as provided
Example:
Name: { Office }
Address: { office1.dvrdns.org}
Enter Port: { 37777 }
Username: { admin }
Password: { admin }
Tab Save to save changes
Repeat step 8, if you have more than one site
Tab “Start Live View” at the bottom and all your cameras
will pop up.
