Charity Proceeds from the Full Moon 5k and Kids’ Run will benefit kids in need of running shoes. For many years, Movin’ Shoes has worked with various schools and local running programs to help children in need and promote the sport; such as the Hawthorne Girls’ Run Club, Lincoln Elementary, among others. The Girls Running Club at Hawthorne Elementary School in Madison, WI is an after school group that meets twice a week for lessons and running activities. Girls discuss self-esteem, health and goal-setting in the context of training for a 5k. Find more information at http://www.shoesthatfit.org/Our-Programs/Find-aVolunteer/3348 Thanks to our sponsors!
