LET THE ENERGY PERFORMANCE
SCORE HELP SELL YOUR NEXT
HOME.
The Energy Performance Score (EPS) is
a clear and quantitative way to assess
a new home’s energy consumption,
carbon emissions and estimated utility
costs. The EPS helps builders:
• Showcase their newly built homes’
energy performance
• Give homebuyers valuable
information about the home’s
estimated utility costs before
they buy
The EPS is assessed for new homes,
including homes receiving Earth
Advantage (Silver®, Gold® and
Platinum®), ENERGY STAR®, LEED for
Homes® or other energy efficiency
certifications.
