Have to be honest, we’ve never seen a Colombian Peaberry before. On our last
trip to Chinchina the guys at Caficultores surprised us with this experimental
coffee. It’s screened as a microlot from Antioquia Supremos. The peaberry tastes
simply amazing; it has a wildness in the flavour that is quite entrancing among
the normally conservative Colombians, and roasts with perfect sweetness. Try
eating the beans straight out of the roaster and you’ll be happy before they even
make the cup. Save some for the filter though!
