INTRODUCTION
Hospitality and Tourism Industry has been the focus for Malaysia and many
countries in the Asian region. The governments have also become to realize about
the vast potential and economic value of the Hospitality and Tourism Industry
and it’s contribution towards the country’s growth and employment factors.
ABOUT THARSHAL TRAINING ACADEMY
Tharshal Training Academy as a leading training provider in hospitality and tourism
is well positioned to carry out the training specified. Tharshal Training Academy also
provide exposure to trainees in different environments of hospitality and tourism in the
capital city of KL and regional tourist centers such as Malacca, Genting Highlands,
Penang, Langkawi and Johor Bahru.
We emphasize that the training methods under this proposal does not end at
classroom interactions but would take trainees to industry and government locations to
observe at first hand the subjects of their training.
Tharshal Training Academy, a multi-disciplinary training institution with trainees
from various countries, would also be able to provide a learning environment that is
enriched by interactions with trainees from other disciplines and other countries.
FOUNDER AND MANAGING DIRECTOR
Mr. Kalaiarasan is the Founder and the
Managing Director of THARSHAL TRAINING
ACADEMY.
He is a certified Instructor of the American
Hotel and Lodging Association. He holds a
Diploma in Hospitality Management and a MBA.
He is also a certified Assessor Of The Great
Britain College Consortium.
Mr. Kalaiarasan has immense 25 years
experience in hospitality industry. He has
worked as a Waiter, Captain, Supervisor, Floor
Manager, Assistant Food and Beverage
Manager, Director and Consultant in Singapore,
Germany and Malaysia. Currently Mr. Kalaiarasan
is the Founder and the Managing Director of
Tharshal Training Academy, a Jabatan
Pembangunan
Kemahiran
(JPK)
and
Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB)
accredited training center in Malaysia. He is also
the owner and CEO of a group of companies.
Mr. Kalaiarasan foresees a tremendous demand
for Malaysian Education not only locally but also
all over the world. Thus, THARSHAL TRAINING
ACADEMY was formed within a short period of
time and has established representative office in
Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Nepal,
Philippines, Russia, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and
many more countries to come in the future. He
personally maintains close contact with existing
partners and representatives and also
participates at Overseas Education Fairs and
road shows to ensure our clients, both existing
and prospective are familiar with our service.

PROJECT 2009
The students will be placed in various hotels throughout
Malaysia. Listed below are some of the hotels that we
work with:
Support / Corporation with Ministry of Human Resource under
the Project Peransangan Ekonomi Belia Malaysia 2009 to
develop youth towards to skills programme. Under this project,
550 youths have been trained with skills training programme
and given job placement.
PROJECT 2010
Support / Corporation with Jabatan Perdana Menteri and
Yayasan Strategik Sosial under the Project Latihan
Kemahiran Belia India 2010 to develop Indian youth towards
to skills programme. Under this project, 190 youths / single
mother have been trained with skills training programme.
Support / Corporation with Jabatan Perdana Menteri and
Northern Corridor Implementation Authority under the Project
Latihan Kemahiran Belia Malaysia 2010 to develop youth
towards to skills programme. Under this project, 200 youths
have been trained with skills training programme.
PROJECT 2012 / 2013
Support / Corporation with Kementerian Sumber Manusia
(Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran) and Malaysian Association
Of Hotels under the Project Sistem Latihan Dual Nasional
2012 / 2013 to develop youth towards to skills programme.
Under this project, 402 youths have been trained with
skills training programme.

Support / Corporation with Kementerian Sumber Manusia
(Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran) and Malaysian Association
Of Hotels under the Project Sistem Latihan Dual Nasional
Peningkatan Tahap to develop youth towards to skills
programme. Under this project, 560 youths are being trained
with skills training programme.
