Dancehall and Reggae world. Her cutting edge
Black, Green, and Gold braided hair styles and her
immaculate glamour pictures dominate the internet.
Her fashion sense is raved about by her fans and is
heavily monitored in the glossy pages of high fashion
Asian Magazines.
Shade is now being dubbed by musical gurus, and
fans alike as the next “Grace Jones who blazed a
bright torch on the international cultural Reggae
landscape, making the world realize that music such
as Shade’s isn't only by über stars like Marlene
Dietrich alone. An international Reggae star under the
moniker of Shade is now fortifying this Reggae

Most
recently, JSP Production released
Shade’s newest single titled “Coming Back”
which has been creating waves in the Reggae
industry. Her lyrical content and melody of the
record seems to surpass time. The tune embodies
the characteristics of a song that will be sung by
generations to come. It must be said that, there
is much more than just beauty in the SHADE, she
is a talented song writer and business minded
woman with the determination of one who knows
her destiny.
In 2011, Shade launched her album release tour
that kicked off in Okinawa, Japan. Traveling
through six different cities throughout Asia.
For her album release, Shade invited a few
Jamaican musician friends to perform live in
front of hundreds of adoring fans on the U.S
Military Bases in Japan and other local venues.
The self title album "Lifein the Shade" was
released worldwide and can be found on the
shelves of major distribution outlets in Japan
such as Tsutaya, Tower Records, and HMV.
“Lifein the Shade” features a mixture of Reggae
and Dancehall hits, as well as a cover version of
the widely know record “Satta Massagana”
originally performed by the Abyssinians. One
must note that in 32 years of the Original “Satta
Massagana” release, Shade’s cover version is the
first female version that was release in 2011. This is
a ground breaking achievement, one that should not
be gone unnoticed.

 Successful album release tour in Japan and a
new found Asian fan base. In addition she
launched her line of Tote bag, T-Shirt and
other merchandise.
 In 2011, Shade’s self title album "Life in the
Shade" was released in Asia hitting the
shelves of major distributors throughout
Japan and worldwide.
 In 2009, Shade focused on releasing her
album. She started campaigning and
touring ASIA, where she landed a
modeling contract in which she became the
face of LLBEANS new Tote Bag Line.
Shade has been featured in multiple
magazines across Asia and in the well
known Mono Magazine, which circulates
over 200, 000, 000 copies per year.
 In 2008, Shade began the preparation of her
album release tour in the United States
and continued performing internationally.
Her first leg of promotion for her album
began in Columbia in 2008.
 In 2007, Shade released her hit single
"Moving High” and moved on and
collaborated with Junior Reid on her
SMASH single "Hot Boys". Also, well as
collaborated with Calton Coffie, Grammy
Winner and former lead singer of Inner
Circle.

 In 2006 Shade teamed up with Karl Pitterson a
legendary Reggae music Engineer and
Producer who have worked with artists such as
Bob Marley, Cheer, Whitney Houston, and
more.
 In 2004 – 2005, she landed back ground work in
the well-known movie "Bad Boys” with Will
Smith ad Martine Lawrence and "Fast and the
furious" staring Vin Diesel.
 In 2003, Shade continued to performance live in
the US and the Caribbean, venturing out into
voice over’s and background acting roles in TV
commercials.
 2000 and 2001 the Peer Awards foundation
awarded her with 11 awards for her modeling
and acting work in Cable & Wireless "Digita"
campaign that was spear headed by Patrick
Waldemar from Waterworks advertising
agency.
