I N M EMORIUM - C. R OBERT S AMPLE 1941-2010
It is with regret that we sorrowfully announce the passing of our dear friend and
brother Bob Sample. Bob has been a member of chapter H since February of 2002.
Born Oct. 1, 1941, in Chicago, he died
Saturday, March 20, 2010, at home after a
lengthy battle with lung cancer. Mr. Sample was a retired Wood Dale police officer, member of the American Gold Wing
Association IL-Chapter H, member of the
Minutemen, lifetime member of the Amateur Ham Radio Operators and a Navy
veteran of Vietnam. He was the brother of
Pat Pedersen, Lois (Bill) Overlin and Nancy (Nick) Bell; uncle of Nicholas, Melissa, Bonnie, Billy and Becky; great-uncle of four, great-greatuncle of one; and wonderful friend to Kenneth and Kristine Nootbaar and
family, Harold and Elizabeth Knaak and family, and Graydon and Brenda
Reed and family. Interment in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington
Heights. Per request of the family, donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 3000 Kelly Lane, Springfield, IL. 62711.

common desire of fun, fellowship, and safety. AGWA is a family
orientated, family membership social organization of Gold Wing
owners and other brands of touring motorcycles who share the love
for the open road and participating in exciting activities, recreation
and educational programs, events, and fellowship. AGWA is an
AMA chartered organization. All Directors and Officers are
volunteers serving without financial compensation. All positions
are obtained through a completely democratic process.
