Galena Lodge
YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS MAKE A DIFFERENCE !
Galena Lodge is a winter and summer resort
located in Idaho’s Sawtooth National Recreation
Area. Galena can thank a rich history of mining, sheep
herding and logging for much of its trail system. The
town of Galena flourished briefly as a mining
community from 1879 to 1890, with a population of
around 800. Since 1974 Galena Lodge has been a
center for outdoor recreation and Nordic skiing.
