The old-fashioned festival provides free activities and
entertainment starting with the 8 a.m. Opening Ceremony and concluding with a 9 p.m. Fireworks Display. Enjoy the antique car show, cow mooing contest, butter churning contest, sack race, turtle races,
live entertainment, baby contest, antique tractor and
engine display, and more. Coupled with plenty of
food, lots of exhibits, a big arts and crafts show, and
political speaking. The Dairy Festival is our largest
event for the year and one of the largest festivals in
the region.

Ghouls and goblins are
seen all over town for
the annual Townwide
Halloween Party. Local merchants encourage
their employees to costume and supply treats
to trick-or-treaters after school.
Holmes Water Park Paved walking trails
meander along Magee’s Creek, a popular
destination for canoeing. Located only a 90minute drive from New Orleans, Baton
Rouge, and Jackson - Tylertown is an easy
day trip. The Children's Playground is adorable and open all year. Tour the Christmas
Lights during the holiday season. The pavilion and the outdoor stage are available for
parties during other times of the year.

birdwatching enthusiasts. Many species
are found along the
trail, among the pines
and tall, leafy hardwoods. Pileated Woodpeckers, like this one,
