It is quite common for them to leave our computers open when we leave our office or when we fall asleep, and if
a decade ago that happened to have downloaded the movie until the next morning, the last year there is no
such reason . Most know that the computer still works, even when in standby mode, making this computational power goes to waste.

To counteract this, the nonprofit Quantum Cures (founded last month) asks us to install a free screensaver on
our computer, which exploits the "dead" time to process molecular structures, thus assisting in research to
combat rare diseases.
Those wishing to participate in the program should indicate how many hours will "run" the screensaver on your
computer or the tablet (available for various platforms), while there is an option to "run" in the background even
when working. A fairly interesting initiative, similar to SETI (analyze radio waves from space), but certainly more tangible purpose.
