Get your workout in at Rancho Bernardo Inn's Fitness Center, open
24 hours daily. Complimentary water, headphones and towels are

Rancho Bernardo Inn also has several tennis courts, which

Across from the resort is Ranch Bernardo Swim and Tennis Club, which is open to all hotel guests.

San Diego Padres Baseball Game
Sunday, September 25th at 1:00pm
Kick off your stay in San Diego with this home-run event!
The San Diego Padres will be playing the San Francisco Giants.
If there is enough interest, the GFA will arrange group tickets for
members to attend the game.
If you are interested in attending the game, please indicate this while registering.
Ticket Fee: Approximately $50 - $80 per person depending on seat location.
Reception / Dinner Format
Based on the positive feedback received at previous meetings,
the dinner reception will again be held on Tuesday evening. This
will be an open flowing reception, but there will be plenty of
seating and food so you will not have to worry about making
dinner plans on this night. On Wednesday evening, the reception
will again be an open flowing event with plenty of seating, but the
food options will shift to smaller appetizers, allowing you the
opportunity to make individual dinner arrangements with friends
and colleagues. Both nights will offer tremendous networking
opportunities, delicious food, and open bars. We look forward to
seeing you there!
Welcome Walk/Run
On Tuesday beginning at 9:00am, we have scheduled a Welcome Walk/Run. This event will be
open to spouses, guests, and members, and the final destination is up to the group. Enjoy the
beautiful scenery around the Rancho Bernardo Inn and get to know some of your fellow attendees.
There may be a group of runners, so if you are interested in running, please bring your running
shoes. The group will depart from the main lobby at 9:00am and there is no cost to join!
Registration Fees
Member Registration Fee: $495 per person
Reduced Member Registration Fee: $225 per person
To be eligible for this rate, at least 2 other representatives from your company must be paying
the full fee.
Spouse Registration Fee: $225 per person
Spouses who are full-time employees of GFA member companies must pay the full member
registration fee.
Table Top Fee: $200 per table
CEO Luncheon Meeting
We will again have a CEO Luncheon Meeting, featuring a
roundtable discussion of items that would be of interest to CEOs,
on Tuesday. Attendance will be limited to CEOs and senior
officers with P/L responsibility. A maximum of two people per
member company may attend, provided that they both meet the
provisions. There will be a $55 per person fee in addition to the
meeting registration fee to attend this session.
Fabricator Forum
Enjoy an opportunity to discuss the issues that are of specific interest to Fabricators and are most
relevant to you and your company with your colleagues and peers in the industry. Pre-registration
for the Tuesday afternoon session is required, but there is no additional fee. Attendance will be
limited to Fabricator members of the GFA.
Associate Member Meeting
Join your fellow Associate members for a discussion of topics such as guidelines for the supplier
expos, advertising opportunities, meeting, webinar, and newsletter content, and expansion of
membership. A survey will be sent to Associate members prior to the meeting to help set the
agenda for this meeting.
Golf
Wednesday, September 28th at 1:00pm
The 18-Hole San Diego Championship Golf Course at Rancho Bernardo Inn has hosted both PGA
and LPGA events, and continues to present golfers of all skill levels with a challenging and
rewarding day on the course.
The West Course at the Rancho Bernardo Inn was rated 9 out of 10 by the U-T San Diego!
The property recently completed a successful 24-month greens renovation project to its
championship golf course. The new putting surfaces receive daily raves for turf quality and their
new challenging enhancements. The expansive project reinforces JC Resorts' commitment to
provide the best golf course conditions in the San Diego Golf Market. After 50 historic years, the
golf course continues to be a favorite among San Diego golfers, as well as travelers from around
the world.
All golf fees will be charged to your room at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. If you are not
staying at the hotel, you will need to arrange payment in the pro shop prior to playing.

San Diego by Land & Sea Tour
Wednesday, September 28th at 1:00pm
On Wednesday afternoon, we have planned a 4-hour tour to see the vast history and culture
making up San Diego!
You'll enjoy the shopping, dining, and entertainment across San Diego. Check out the historic
Gaslamp Quarter, with its Victorian-themed buildings. You'll see Balboa Park and stroll through El
Prado, a long promenade, lined with Spanish architecture. Explore the Old Town San Diego State
Historic Park and experience Mexican and early American life in the 19th century, including five
original adobe homes filled with fascinating artifacts.
After seeing this lovely city by land, you will be welcomed aboard a public harbor tour boat
through the calm waters of the San Diego Bay to see the city and bustling harbor from a
completely different perspective.

New Member / First Time Attendee Orientation
All new members and first-time attendees, along with their spouses, are invited to a brief
orientation on Tuesday evening at 6:30pm. This meeting will give
you a very brief overview of the workings of the Association and
will give you a chance to meet a few people before the general
meeting.
Spouse Activities
The spouse registration fee includes admission to all sessions, unless otherwise noted on the
program. This includes the continental breakfasts on Wednesday and Thursday, the Supplier
Expo Luncheon on Wednesday, and all cocktail receptions. Please note that spouses who are fulltime employees of GFA member companies must pay the full member registration fee.
On Tuesday at 4:30pm, there will be a brief spouse meeting to discuss activity options for the
next meeting.
GFA Private Pool Outing
We have again reserved an area by the pool
on Wednesday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm
exclusively for attendees of the GFA's meeting.
The area will serve as a meeting place for
attendees to gather and network informally.
Light snacks and refreshments will be available.
Spouses and guests are welcome.
