Aggeliki Pappa is an English Foreign Language Teacher-Special Educator
with specialized postgraduate studies in inclusion for students with special
needs and differentiated instruction. She is the founder and the head director
of studies in “i love dyslexia” (ILD) the first and only highly specialized,
innovative educational organization internationally, focusing on experiential and
holistic teaching of EFL to students with dyslexia and learning differences.
She is a researcher and a teacher trainer in Greece and in international projects
funded by the EU in Folkuniversitetet, Uppsala-Sweden. Also, she is a research
associate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the
University of Thessaly, where she teaches and writes academic educational
papers. She also collaborates with various institutions (Harvard University’s
Center for Hellenic Studies, the Greek Ministry of Education, National Parents’
Association of Children with dyslexia of Northern Greece, RTC - Regional Training
Centers, English School Advisors, etc.) and for the last eight years she has
been working voluntarily in the public sector as a teacher traineer on the
field of EFL and dyslexia. Aggeliki Pappa has received honorary distinctions
from various institutions and the former Greek Ministry of Education and
Development for her unique contribution to the Greek educational system.
Furthermore, Aggeliki Pappa has been a SENCO in the private sector. Finally,
her personal vision is holistic life skills education for all, with an emphasis on
developing quality programs on the innovative field of teaching EFL and dyslexia,
aiming at offering the opportunity to numerous students with SEN to succeed in
the challenging subject of EFL and to cultivate their life skills to cope successfully
with the demands of the 21st century.

The ‘in-house’ graphics team of “i love dyslexia”, the creative team
of the Maestro Group, within the framework of “i love dyslexia”
edu-campaign for the year 2011-2012, was shortlisted as one of the
finalists at the most prestigious Awards for Graphics and Illustration,
EVGE 2012, through its participation in the category Advertising Printed
Matter: Brochure for “i love dyslexia”. The Floster (Flyer and Poster)
project for ILD is presented in the EVGE 2012 book, and stands out for
its particular originality, and for its effectiveness in promoting and reflection
the innovative educational programme of ILD through its creative design.

Collaboration of Aggeliki Pappa, Director of ILD Studies, with
the research institute of Folkuniversitetet in Uppsala, Sweden,
and integration of ILD’s innovative curriculum within an extended
international project on dyslexia and SEN.
The team at “i love dyslexia”, within the framework of collaboration
with the research institute of Folkuniversitetet in Uppsala, Sweden,
represents Greece abroad through participation in European-funded
international research projects related to innovative teaching methodology
within the teaching process. On 19 October 2015, Aggeliki Pappa, Head of
Research at “i love dyslexia”, presents ILD’s original curriculum to the Director
of International Cooperation and Projects of Folkuniversitetet’s 48 branches,
since ILD’s curriculum forms part of an international project whose aim is
the diffusion of the innovative knowledge, experience and specialised holistic
program of “i love dyslexia” in the field of EFL and dyslexia, internationally.
Furthermore, the aforementioned international project aims to generally
empower teachers of a typical school to include students with dyslexia
and special educational needs in the mainstream classroom in the best
possible way, practicing specialized differentiated instruction and innovative
edu-approaches.
