Songs of hope, struggle, freedom and joy, performed with a new understanding of their origins. Ten people are stranded in an isolated English country house during a raging thunderstorm -the perfect scenario for an Agatha Christie whodunit, right? But in this musical spoof of the genre, the characters are disposed of one by one in fiendishly clever and comic ways: poison darts, man-eating flower pots, and exploding staircases to name just a few! How will it end? Come and see for yourself! Plant the seeds. Tend the garden. Harvest the grain. Grind the flour. Bake the bread. Find out how a farm works as the little red hen tries to get her barnyard friends to help her – and to learn the lessons of work and reward. By Paul Deiss (approximately 45 minutes) By Paul Deiss (approximately 2 hours) (approximately 45 minutes) (approximately 45 minutes) A dance theatre production inspired by the life and poetry of Edgar Allan Poe, Alfonsina Storni, Pablo Neruda and Federico Garcia Lorca. Even a rational appeal from Christy the Christmas Seal won’t work. Thank goodness Cowboy Jim arrives— he can wrangle those reindeer Texas-style, if only he could find his magic lasso. The stakes get even higher when Drifty leaves for a spontaneous vacation to the Lone Star State— where he melts. They’ve got to get those reindeer down so they can fly to Drifty’s rescue. Looks like they’ll need some of Santa’s Christmas magic.
