Reuters Wealth Manager (RWM)
is a web-based application
providing financial information and
analysis for wealth managers and
advisors.
This is the RWM welcome page.
From here it’s easy to get the broadest possible view of all
factors that affect the value of investments...
It gives the broadest possible view
of all factors that affect the value of
investments – from real-time data
from exchanges covering equities
and bonds, through foreign
exchange, money rates and worldclass news. Delayed data is also
provided for consensus estimates,
diary events, equity and bond
histories, terms ands conditions.
You can also research, analyse and
compare funds from all over the
world.
RWM allows you to view this data
in two ways:
•
•
.... using Flexsheets, screens
you build yourself...
Pre-built screens (Reuters
Views) are screens that give
you comprehensive data on a
specific currency, country, and
asset class.
Flexsheets are screens you
build yourself so that they
contain the information you
need.
To start RWM, open Internet
Explorer. If you are connecting via
the internet, use:
www.reuters.com/wealthmanager
If you are connecting via the BT
Radianz private network, use:
http://reuterstrader.session.rservic
es.com/wealthmanager
HTTP://http://reuters.session.rservi
If you are logging on for the first
time, follow the simple 3-step
procedure to connect to the
service. If you have logged on
previously, enter your RWM login
and password in the dialogue box
to display the RWM window.
TIP
RWM only works with Internet
Explorer version 7 or later.

Reuters Wealth Manager
...and Pre-built (Reuters Views) screens that contain all the
comprehensive data you need at your fingertips…
Pre-built screens
When you first start RWM, the
Home page is displayed. This gives
a general world overview, with
major news stories and charts
showing the currently active major
indices for equities and bonds, plus
a key exchange rate.
There are more than 30 pre-built
screens (also known as Reuters
Views), that offer you a
consolidated display of the key data
available.
Using menu commands
Reuters Views are displayed in a
hierarchical structure, so you can
drill down from general to specific
information using a combination of
are three menu commands
available in all pre-built screens
and links inside the view.
•
•
•
Use the go menu commands
for an overview of the world
economy, funds, specific
countries and all the major
indices, bond and currency
markets.
Use the show menu commands
for a more detailed view of the
indices, bond and currency
markets, equity, bond and
currency calculators,
fundamental and cashflow
ratios, and research.
The links in the do menu give
you useful actions, such as
printing.
As you drill down through the
hierarchy for information, the menu
structure reflects this, enabling you
to know where you are in the
hierarchy and to navigate
accordingly.

Find and compare
funds
The best place to begin is the
Searches page.
For a custom search, use
these top boxes.
The classes available
depend on the
classification scheme
you have selected.
(You can select more
than one class.)
The funds search gives you a
completely separate area where
you can find funds, examine and
compare them.
There are two ways to get to this
area:
•
•
From the do -> menu, click
on world -> funds. This
takes you to the Home
page for funds. To find a
fund, click the Searches
link at the top.
From the search window,
click on fund focus. This
takes you straight to the
Searches page for funds.
As you select, the
number of funds
that match the
selection is shown.
By default, non-primary
funds are also filtered out.
Go to step 2 or 3.
Select a criterion
and add it.
For a custom search, where you
can drill down by country and
category, use the upper part of the
Searches page.
For a quick search where you know
all or part of a company or fund
name, use the lower part of the
Searches page.
In both cases, you get the chance
to filter the funds by percentage
value or by ranking (by Lipper).
Once you have displayed your list
of funds, you can view them in
different ways
Here we have
added two
criteria – one
for ranking and
one for
performance.
View the funds that match these criteria.
You can add
more funds or
market indices
for comparison.
You can also display research
(including holdings and quantitative
analysis) on a fund or view a range
of charts (including rolling growth,
percentage growth and TNA
History).
Use the Research or Charting
links at the top of the Global Funds
Screener window to view these.
For a search by name, use the lower
boxes in the Searches page.
View different
details –
calendar year
performance, or
performance
relative to the
Lipper Global
Index.
Search for a name…
Select a company
from the dropdown and add it.
Check the number
of funds found
before moving to
the next step.
