Aosta Valley
The Aosta Valley is a mountainous
region in northwestern Italy. It is
bordered by Rhône-Alpes, France to
the west, Valais, Switzerland to the
north and the region of Piedmont to
the south and east.
Cervino
The Giants of the Alps
Mountain system of the Val d’Aosta draw
a natural skyline where four peaks are
easily recognised: Mont-Blanc (4.810 m),
a mountain sculpted in granite; Mount
Cervino (4.478 m) with its characteristic
pyramidal form; Mount Rosa (4.634 m);
and Mount Gran Paradiso (4.061 m).

Mount Cervino: The
majestic mountain
The territory begins at 1.524 metres in
Valtournenche, embraces Breuil-Cervinia,
rises up to 3.480 metres of Plateau Rosà,
touches the 4.000 peak of Piccolo Cervino,
climbs up 4.478 to the top of Cervino and
continues on the Swiss side to Zermatt. The
perfect place for sports, relax and fun.

Cervinia-Valtournenche can be reached:

By car: from the A5 Torino-Aosta motorway take
the Chatillon/Saint Vincent exit and head along
the regional road to Cervinia for 28km.

By train: the nearest railway station is at
Chatillon/Saint Vincent.

By airplane: short distance from international
airports.

The Breuil-Cervinia Valtournenche Zermatt area is one of the largest in the Alps, with
a “domaine skiable” which stretches through three valleys in two countries, Italy and
Switzerland, from the 3,883 m of the Piccolo Cervino descending to the 1,524 m
of Valtournenche.

The Breuil-Cervinia Valtournenche Zermatt ski
area guarantees the snow all year long, offering
the chance to ski from October to May, through the
360 km of ski runs (of which 26,5 km are open for
the summer season).

In occasion of the full moon, the
mountain restaurants in collaboration
with the lift systems company Cervino
SpA and the ski instructors, offer a
romantic candlelit dinners followed by
a descents with the ski runs
illuminated by the moonligh.

Indian Park
A freestyle area of over 4 hectares,
400 metres long and 100 metres
wide with 9 kickers (from 1.5 to 18
m), 5 handrails (from 4 to 10 m), 5
boxes (from 4 to 6 m) and one house
shaped wallride. The park is aimed
at snowboarders and freestyle
skiers of all levels. The potent
sound system ensures great music.
The automatic clamp six-seater
chairlift means rapid ascent back to
the park and no queues, not even
on the weekends.

It’s an air matress 15 metres wide
and 3 metres high where you can
jump with your skis, snowboard,
tubes or in summer on your
mountain
bike.

photographers will take a shot of all

snow-covered run in Cervinia. Go
to the top on the snowmobile and

Golf Club
At the foot of Mt Cervino,
surrounded by a beautiful and
unique panorama you will find
the golf club with it’s 18 hole
golf course. While if you want
to learn a new sport, on the
tennis courts courses will be
held along with private lessons
(individual or group lessons)
for all levels; beginners,
intermediate and advanced.

The Adventure Park is the perfect
activity where the children can try
breathtaking activities suspended in
mid air in total safety. While for
adults that want to try rock climbing
for the first time there is a great
training run . If you want to admire
the breathtaking views of the
surrounding mountains you can try a

Guides.

Rafting and MTB downhill
Cyclists will enjoy the numerous trails
especially created for the mountain
bike enthusiasts, both cross-country
and downhill trails. The area is known
for it's Bike Park; different trails that
are signposted with they’re difficulty, in
order to permit to everyone the trial of
the downhill discipline. If you still feel
the need of adrenaline in your body,
you can try the rapids of our river and
learn the techniques on these fun,
exciting itineraries into the nature.

For those that want to try some
hiking, Cervinia offers many
itineraries that take you to the
heart of these mountains, in a

want to have a real wild

Mezzalama Trophy

Born in 1933, Mezzalama Trophy, or “the
marathon of glaciers”, is the highest
marathon on the mountaineering skis. The
path covers the peaks of Monte Rosa,
Cervinia, Champoluc e Gressoney. The
starting point is placed at the bottom of the
slopes of Cervinia (m 2020) and the finish
line in Gressoney La Trinité (1637 m).

The route will run along the two important
well known routes of the Valle d'Aosta, with
the start and finishing line in Courmayeur,
covering a total of around 336km (200
miles), with an altitude range of 24,000
metres.
