PARK GUIDEon the go!
California’s Great America & Boomerang Bay Santa Clara, CA FOR YOUR SAFETY, DO NOT ENTER UNAUTHORIZED AREAS. YOU MAY BE SERIOUSLY INJURED IF YOU ENTER AN UNAUTHORIZED AREA. • Supervise children at all times. A guest’s height is an important safety factor on many rides and attractions. Children may be measured and receive a wristband, if qualified, at each ride location. For the safety of your child, a standard play shoe that does not contribute excessively to the child’s height is required. For example, a child is not permitted to wear platform shoes to help meet a height requirement. California’s Great America reserves the right to ask that shoes be removed to ensure that a child’s height is not being artificially enhanced or manipulated. • Most rides cannot accommodate loose articles, including cell phones, pagers, hats, cameras, stuffed animals, purses, backpacks, umbrellas, beverage containers, personal entertainment devices, etc. Items must be safely secured in cargo pockets, a waist pack, left in a locker, placed in an article bin at the ride location or left with a non-rider. Ride Operators are not responsible for these items. Glasses must be secured on all rides. For safety reasons, taking pictures, videotaping and filming on rides is prohibited. • All passenger restraint systems, including lap bars, shoulder harnesses and seatbelts must be positioned and fastened properly, and tightened securely, to allow guests to ride. • Guests with a history of recent surgery, heart trouble/high blood pressure, neck trouble, back trouble or any other condition that may be aggravated by riding, or who are pregnant, should carefully heed all warning signs at each ride entrance. If you are in doubt about your ability to safely experience a ride or would like more rider information, please request our Rider Safety Guide at Town Hall located at the front gate. We will be happy to brief you on our Ride Admission Policy and explain how it applies to your specific situation. We hope we can help you enjoy your day more fully. • Many rides at California’s Great America are dynamic and thrilling. There are inherent risks in riding any amusement ride. For your protection, each ride is rated for its special features, such as high speed, steep drops, sharp turns or other dynamic forces. If you choose to ride, you accept all of these risks. Restrictions for guests of extreme size (height or weight) are posted at certain rides. Guests with disabilities should stop by Town Hall located at the Front Gate and pick up our Rider Safety Guide. Participate responsibly. You should be in good health to ride safely. You know your physical conditions and limitations. California’s Great America does not. If you suspect your health could be at risk for any reason, or you could aggravate a pre-existing condition of any kind, DO NOT RIDE! We are glad you are here. California’s Great America is committed to providing a safe, comfortable and fun-filled experience for all of our guests. Please be respectful of others and abide by all Park rules and regulations, which are posted throughout the Park and available at Guest Services located at the Front Gate. Failure to abide by all Park rules could result in ejection from the Park without refund and/or arrest/legal prosecution as dictated by law. Please help us maintain a quality, family environment for all of our guests by not using profanity, wearing appropriate attire while you are in the Park, and smoking only in designated areas. If you have a safety concern, please bring it to our attention immediately. We also expect that you will not engage in any illegal, unsafe or offensive behavior while you are here. Please talk with any Park Employee or stop by Guest Services if there is anything we can do to make your visit more enjoyable. Have a great day!
