and holidays, a "posse" show where the kids can
even help track down the 'bad guy". This little old
mining town offers plenty of rousing, rough-andtumble action, simulated gunfights in the streets,
an 1830's melodrama complete with mustachioed
villian in its authentically recreated Saloon, and
even a public hanging, with an obliging Stuntman
swaying in the wind.
In addition to our gunfights and cowboys, there's
a wax museum with figures from our frontier
history, great homemade meals at our restaurant,
a beautiful 1800's style chapel which is great for
weddings, conventions facilities, and plenty of
shopping for those looking for turquoise and
silver and other western souvenirs. Bonnie
Springs Old Nevada is an adventurous outing for
the whole family and we're open every day of the
year!
The Convention’s golf tournament will be held at
this location. It is located 45 minutes from the
Wynn Hotel.
The Atomic Testing Museum
The Atomic Testing Museum portrays world
history through varied representations of the
story of the Nevada Test Site and its programs.
The museum features many not seen before,
first-person narratives, large iconic artifacts,
environmental re-creations, theatrical devices,
and interactive elements for personal exploration.
It also presents multiple viewpoints expressed in
multi-media presentations and stunning graphics.
Founded in 1998 to preserve the legacy of the
Nevada Test Site, the museum's parent
organization, Nevada Test Site Historical
Foundation was founded with a mission to
document and interpret the unique history
associated with 50+ years of nuclear weapons
research and testing conducted at the Test Site.
Dolphin Habitat
The Atomic Testing Museum is located at 755
East Flamingo Rd. in Las Vegas, Nevada. The
museum is only minutes from the Las Vegas

The 2.5-million-gallon Dolphin Habitat is home to
a family of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. Its
purpose is to provide a healthy and nurturing
environment for dolphins, as well as to educate
the public about marine mammals and their
environment - including their role in the
ecosystem.
Four connected pools, an artificial coral reef
system and sandy bottom replicate the dolphins'
natural environment. Most of the dolphins were
born here; the remaining few were relocated from
other facilities.

The Dolphin Habitat is both an educational and
research facility. We host educational programs
for students from kindergarten through university
age. Guided tours for the public are conducted

creak pleasantly under your feet, saloons,
tumbleweeds, stagecoaches, and even a Boot

Travel
Transportation
Once you’re on the ground, your transportation
options range from rental cars, shuttles, taxis,
and limos. The Wynn Las Vegas concierge said
that a shuttle leaves the airport every 30 minutes
and stops at the different hotels. The cost of the
shuttle is $6.00 per person. The shuttle stops at
various hotels. A taxi would cost approximately
$20.00-$25.00 plus gratuity, a sedan from the
hotel would cost $88.60 per 3 passengers and it
includes gratuity. The ride from the airport to the
Wynn Las Vegas is approximately 10-15 minutes.
Construction of the $200 million complex began
in 1995. Nearly 2,000 tons of concrete were
originally used to build more than 100,000 seats.
Shortly after Speedway Motorsports Inc. bought
the track in 1998, it announced plans to add
22,000 seats in the Dale Earnhardt Tower
overlooking the frontstretch.
The first NASCAR race held at Las Vegas Motor
Speedway was a Truck Series event in 1996.
The Busch Series held a race there in 1997, and
a year later the Cup series made its first visit with
Mark Martin picking up the victory in 1998.
Construction of the Richard Petty Terrace in Turn
1 was completed in 2006, allowing fans a shot at
14,000 additional tickets and pushing the track's
seating capacity to nearly 150,000.
Additionally, the track saw several major changes
in 2006, as the entire surface as reconfigured
with progressive banking installed, as well as fanfriendly features in the infield and moving pit road
closer to the straightaway. Beginning in 2007,
officials made grandstand seating during
NASCAR weekend smoke-free
