I n s e r t t h e t w o p r o n g s ( 2 1 )o n t h e b a c k o f t h e hood into the slots on the camera body, and w h i l e p r e s s i n gt h e h o o d f r o n t p o r t i o n t o w a r d the camera body, return the nameplate to its originalposition. The latch will pop out and the hood will be locked automatically. W h i l e h o l d i n gb o t h s i d e p a n e l so f t h e f o c u s ing hood to prevent lowering of the magnifier base plate, turn the magnifier counterclockwise, and at the point where the white d o t o n t h e m a g n i f i e rb e c o m e s a l i g n e d w i t h the white dot on the base plate, remove the magnifier. After aligning the magnifier white dot with the base plate white dot, mount another m a g n i f i e rb y t u r n i n g i t c l o c k w i s e . *. In additionto the standard(-1.3) diopter l e n s , a v a i l a b l ea r e + 1 , 0 , - 1 , - 2 , a n d - 3 diopter lenses (six in total). 32 C Focusing Screen O RevolvingAdapter Five types of easily exchangeable focusing s c r e e n s a r e a v a i l a b l et o m e e t v a r i o u s p h o t o g r a p h i ng a p p l i c a t i o n s . To detach the revolving adapter, pull out and down on the R-lock lever (28) at the bottom of the camera body. To attach the revolving adapter to the camera body, faoe the white index dot on the adapter towq/d the top of the camera body, and fully Ogsh the R-lock lever up, white firmly pressingthe adapter toward the camera body. o Attachingand detaching Firstremove the focusing hood, then take out the focusingscreen while holding both sides. To attach it, hold each side and insert the f o c u s i n gs c r e e n i n t o t h e t o p o f t h e c a m e r a body and press down lighfly. NOTE: When the focusing screen has been detached, do not touch the picture format indicating red dot on the side of the camera body.. ,r When attaching the revolving adapter, press it firmly so that it is attached tighily and never comes loose. lf the adaoter is attached somewhat loosely, it will cause lightleakage. It is advisable to release the shutter when the lens is not to be used for a long period. T o r e l e a s e a l e n s s h u t t e rw h i c h i s r e m o v e d from the camera body, turn the cocking pins (56) clockwise, while pressing the shutter lock pin (55) with a finger. The cocking pins should be turned all the way; do NOT leave the pins turned only halfway. When the shutter is cocked, the dark slide is slightly pulled out (approx.1/4in.land the shutter release button is pressed, the shutter can be released without exposing the film in the roll film holder to light. When film holders for the Mamiya Press are used for the Pro-S camera body. Since the former roll film holder is not equippedwith a c o u p l i n g d e v i c e f o r d o u b l e - e x p o s u r ep r e v e n t i o n ,o p e r ate it in the same manner as if it were mounted on the former R867 camera body. When the film wind-stop release lever (42)is moved to the left, a red mark appears on the exposure counter, the wind-stop is released, and the film is ready for w i n di n g .
