35 years old
Martin Pells has an enviable life, and when it is
not so, he makes everybody believe otherwise.
He has been abandoned by his parents, grew
up in an orphanage where he built an ambitious
and resentful personality with the clear objective
of establishing his identity through social
recognition, his goal was and has always been
to be successful at all costs.
He has always sought revenge with life to revert the resentment of having been
rejected and used every means to stop being a minority. Being popular and truly
accepted came from TV, Fame would recue him and he went after it. Her played all his
cards and entered a circle in which ambition is the normal currency, journalism.
Martin’s professional growth was dramatic and directly proportional to the favors he did,
though he is convinced he is the only one responsible for his success. He us the
anchorman of the news show of Meganews, the news leading network, and he is
married to Sol who is also his professional partner. They guarantee professional
seriousness and truth. They are a couple people have great faith in since they are the
faces of the most widely seen night news show and they are also hired by numerous
brands to endorse their products. Everything they do is news, the media loves them,
and they are the perfect couple.
Martin has made it. He lives the balance he always wanted and he extremes the
cleanup process he has done throughout his life: he is against tobacco, he does yoga,
and eats macrobiotic food, he is a sportsman and a vegetarian .He is always careful
with his aspect, wears the best labels, goes to the gym, runs and practices every sport
which is in fashion that season. His specialty is sports with a racquet, he is a tennis
champ, a great paddle player and he can even play squash. Lately he has started
taking golf lessons, only because the golf course is the best place to do business and
get the best info. So much attention for his public image has diverted him from another
way, the way of living in freedom. Martin is a slave of his own interest but of course,
that is where his happiness lies.
Martin’s reality is very different from the one he insists in showing. Each night, far from
the cameras, the fictional marriage is evident and they have their own lives to lead.
Martin disguises himself with an overall, shades and a cap and moves around in a
gardening van that is in fact his home, the one he shares with Tomas, his true partner.
The truth is Martin is gay, and he has been dating Tomas, Franco Andrada’s son (he is
the owner of the network where Martin works). Few people know the truth: Sol,
Daniela, Charly, Amanda, Ricardo and Franco, they are all accomplices of this media
scam.

Martin and Tomas have been living together for years and Tomas is so in love that he
stands this situation with no complaints. When they met, he was not a famous host,
and even though he undoubtedly liked Tomas, it was never very clear if he was
interested in him or his father’s position. The truth is that a short time afterwards, Martin
started to work for the network of Tomas’s father. He accepted the double life game
without any problem, as long as he could make a position for himself. Their relationship
was never equal. Tomas is always trying to be at Martin’s beck and call and to satisfy
his every wish, but he almost never does it. Martin treats Tomas very badly and lately
he was practically a servant.
When the story starts, Martin’s situation is complicated, he cannot stand Sol anymore,
the relationship with Tomas is getting unbearable because he cannot throw away so
many years of work. He receives an unexpected proposal from A24 the competitor’s
channel a millionaire offer to work with them. It is also the way to escape. He will be
hired on his own, not with Sol, and stop working with Franco would free him from
Tomas as well.
He has taken his decision; Martin goes to see Franco to announce his resignation.
Franco will not let him go, they have a strong argument, Martin accidentally falls and
hits his head unconscious, Martin is in a coma and Franco knows scandal will destroy
him. Aiming at protecting himself, Franco continues with the game of Martin and
appearances.
Martin Pells might live a fake life, but his success is real, even if from now on the one to
enjoy it will be a fake Martin Pells too.
GONZALO ECHAGÜE (Mike Amigorena)
“Pells” double
35 years old
Gonzalo smokes like a bat, bites his nails, he loves pasta and
red wine and has never practiced sports, and he does not
care much about being in shape. Everything is allowed for
him as long as he enjoys every minute. He is extremely
sensitive and being authentic is a key value in his life.
He is an only child and has been terribly spoilt by his
grandmother. He lives in the big house he inherited from her
and for which he is paying a mortgage that is getting more
and more difficult to afford. He has also inherited his taste for
the arts from her and she was the one who encouraged him
to stake drama classes early in his life.
Gonzalo has never wanted to be successful or famous; he hates TV and defends the
stage as the purest place for his profession. All his projects have been self promoted
and he only moves in the off circuit, in which he has not been successful either. His
sole income is his drama classes even though he always prioritizes the educational
process of his students even if they cannot pay him.
His drama workshop also takes place in that big house. His place is chaotic and he is
used to living like that, is his kind of “order”.
Sergio is his best friend and the person he trusts, he has an answer and a piece of
advice for everything, even for things he does not know about.

Gonzalo’s female students are in love with him and the have “Pygmalion style”
romances that never come to fruition. He has never lived with a woman.
His meager income and an imminent mortgage payment are troubling him. He is about
to lose what his family took years to get and he is very sad about this feeling of being
such a failure. If he does not pay, he is facing foreclosure and he will be left homeless
and without the workshop or anything at all... The only thing he can sell to raise some
cash is an old coin he also inherited from his grandmother.
When everything seems to be lost, fate has a surprise. He crosses the street without
looking and is run over by Franco, the owner of the Meganews network. That will be a
new beginning for him.
Gonzalo will have to live Martin Pells’s life. He will have to forget about his old identity
and live as somebody else. At first he will think it is an acting experience, but as the
story progresses he will realize it is much more than that, it is part of a scam and he will
be forced to manipulate information.
He learns about the detail of Martin’s double life with Tomas and at the same time he
feels terribly attracted by Sol, ignoring she hates him and would do anything to make
him get out of her way. Then he starts to learn how public opinion is manipulated.
Gonzalo wants to end this lie and go back to his old life but then he discovers he
cannot get out of the contract he signed. So he will do anything he can to be able have
a gay partner without being gay, try to maintain his moral integrity and avoid Franco’s
manipulations. He also wants to win Sol’s love, who hates him believing he is someone
else. Gonzalo will manage to fulfill his dream and interpret a character who unfolds in
several parts, only the stage this time is his own life and his life is now Mr.Pells’s.
Gonzalo’s greatest challenge will be to lose his habits and customs adapting them to
the true Martin Pells without losing his ideals and his loyal way of being.
SOL CASENAVE (Carla Peterson)
32 years old
Sol is a beautiful and sexy woman. She is
skeptical, ironic, very smart and terribly ambitious.
10 have passed since she entered the network as
a trainee while she studied communications. She
immediately started to work hard and make friends
that would help her in her career.
Hard work and discipline, and her ambitions have
made her a woman who does not trust people.
She only trusts her friend Daniela, a makeup artist
from the network who knows every secret in her life.
Sol is obsessive with order and hygiene. She can kneel on the floor to look under the
bed to discover dust. She is also addicted to all kinds of therapy: psychology,
aromatherapy, alternative medicine, etc. She is always up to date with new tendencies
and is the first one to follow them. From Kabala to Scientology, from traditional
psychotherapy to Gestalt.

When she wants to advance in her career she does not have many scruples. She
always knew what she wanted to achieve: to be a first-rate well-known professional,
with a luxurious life.
When Martin started to work in the network, nobody knew he was Tomas’s partner or
that he was gay. He started doing pieces for the news show in which Sol and another
journalist worked, Martin pretends to be humble and seductive at first, Sol is getting
closer to him because he feels attracted... The journalist who worked with him got sick
and she needed a replacement, so Sol asks Franco to try Martin.... As soon as they
start working together the rating numbers skyrocket…there is obvious chemistry
between them... Sol feels she is in love with Martin and is willing to let this feeling grow
but when that happens Franco puts Martin in the other anchor’s place and tells Sol
Martin is his son’s partner. Sol feels emotionally cheated and used. He will never
forgive Martin the fact of having seduced her only to grow professionally. That is why
when she starts to have feelings for the new Martin (Gonzalo), she will do everything in
her power to avoid it and will get angry and do bad things to the man she is really in
love with.
Some time afterwards, a new proposal by Franco will help her get everything she
desires. It means pretending to be Martin’s wife to hide the fact that Martin is the
boyfriend of Franco’s son. Thus they become the most famous couple on TV
surrounded by glamour, and personal and professional success.
Sol currently has a lover, Diego Planes. She has a good time with him he is an escape
from the loneliness she feels with Martin’s arrangement. But she knows what kind of
man is Diego, he is as ambitious as she is, but there is a difference: He is envious and
lacks talent.
The relationship with Franco Andrada is good, he considers her a good professional
and ally, because they always respected the pact they made. Anyway, they are nor
friends. On the other hand, she does not like Amanda; they cannot help disliking each
other and being bitchy. They know and respect each other but they try to keep their
distance.
Sol is tired of Martin; she hates him and would like him to leave. She uses her contacts
inside the network to make him suffer sabotaging his job and making both Martin and
Tomas angry. When she finally believes Martin will not return, he does return, a
changed man. These changes make her suspicious, she believes there is a plan and
true to her personality, she believes the best defense is a good attack, so that is what
she does, Gonzalo’s kindness will weaken Sol and make her doubt and feel attracted
to him.
TOMAS ANDRADA (Diego Ramos)
25 years old
Tomas is Franco’s only son. His father has
always made everything too easy for him, and
does everything he wants, even promoting
Martin’s career. Tomas is deeply in love with
Martin and suffers and tries to ignore his terrible
manners.

Tomas is in charge of the network’s general esthetics and especially Martin and the
night news show. He manages his times, only goes to the channel to oversee the set
designs, the rest of the time he works at home. He has the TV on in every room and
does not miss any detail; he is phobic and pays great attention to details.
He abuses his father’s power to get things for himself and Franco does what his son
wants. He has tried more than once to get him interested in the network but it was all in
vain. Tomas is not interested in the world of journalism. He likes esthetics.
Tomas is madly in love with Martin and does anything for him. He does not want Martin
to leave him that is why he is obsessed by his image and is constantly on a diet,
because he hates sports. He loves spa, massages, and every treatment his money can
buy. He has traveled all over the world and is up to date with every new tendency and
the latest trends. He is very fashionable and owns every new trinket even before it hits
the market. He knows nothing about political news but he loves the latest gossip of
Hollywood star that he refers to by their first name creating the feeling of being a friend
to all of them.
Tomas does his best to make Martin jealous but it is impossible. He almost always
goes out alone because Martin is terrified of being discovered. There are rumors in the
gay circuit and Tomas loves to keep the mystery and be the center of gossip.
When Gonzalo occupies Martin’s place he will be disoriented by his coldness in the
sexual issue and his new warm personality. The new Martin will be less despotic and
will teach Tomas to know his own worth. Tomas will fall even deeper in love with him
and when he sees that Martin is now in love with Sol, she will be his worst enemy.
Tomas will have an army of gay friends to help him win Martin back and will not think of
the consequences. He is even capable of starting to work at the station so he will have
Martin under control. Tomas is totally in love.
FRANCO ANDRADA (Hugo Arana)
50 years old
Francisco “Franco” Andrada is a man who is used to
manipulate. He is a mature man who seems to have everything:
he is the senior partner of the network, TV Mega News where
Martin Pells and Sol Casenave work. Franco loves comfort,
elegance and glamorous women. His company’s revenues
allow him a standard of living which is much higher than he
ever dreamed of. But now that he has so much, money has lost
its value.
He is addicted to manipulation and control. He manipulates
public opinion through the network. This position generates fear
and envy in most people who work in the mass media. He is feared and revered.
Franco believes he is God and is close to being one too.
Franco is addicted to minute by minute rating. He enjoys the way he beats Núñez, the
leader of A24, his competitor. Núñez is in fact, Marcela Núñez, his first ex wife. Marcela
is not Tomas’s mother and even if they have been apart for many years she never
forgave him for having all assets in a company’s name, leaving her penniless. From
that moment on, she has promised to ruin him and has not been able so far, but she
has just bought the network from the competition and is a harder fight.
Franco feels an emperor of TV, a unique figure.

Franco has another passion, or better still, a weakness: His son Tomas. He will do
anything for him. He is the reason he is still married to his second wife even if he
cannot stand her anymore. Amanda is his lover and right hand. Ricardo is his lawyer
and advisor, the man he trusts.
Franco is a “bon vivant”. An amateur gourmet and sommelier, he has an important
wine cellar of which he is very proud of. He collects art and antiques.
AMANDA WEDELL (Andrea Bonelli)
38 years old
Amanda is the image of glamour itself. She is
always wearing stilettos and flawless suits with
amazing handbags. She occupies a predominant
place in the station, in the Programming area; she
is Franco’s right hand. Rumor has it she is the true
genius and the one responsible for the networks
success. Everybody agrees that Franco’s capacity
to dominate her is amazing. He is the only one
capable of that. Amanda is Franco’s lover and it is a secret but everybody knows or
suspects.
Amanda has a 12 year old child whom she adores and spoils but is not really raising.
She is too busy and her few free hours are dedicated to Franco. She loves her son
however, so she has organized an army of servants, teachers, drivers and the like.
Leandro is a very adapted child who has adult conversations that make his mother
proud.
Amanda is educated but cold with her employees. She never loses control, as if
nothing can affect her.
Tomas is a spoilt young man in her opinion, but she knows Franco and would never
make the mistake of talking about it and being against him. Tomas trusts her and she
behaves like a mother to him.
Amanda’s presence will be key to hide Martin Pells and instruct Gonzalo. She will
always be alert so nobody notices the change and her beloved Franco is in peace. Her
brother is the doctor who diagnosed Martin’s irreversible coma and will help move him
to an apartment where nobody knows.
SERGIO GONZALEZ (Mex Urtizberea)
38 years
He is Gonzalo’s unconditional friend, they
meet when they were kids. Sergio is the only
one of his friends who knows Gonzalo is now
Martin Pells. Sergio will help him when the
going gets tough.
Sergio was the manager of bands who never
got anywhere. He adapts and is always trying
to find any opportunity and immediately sells it as the best option. He is a good man
and has a great heart. Everything is a potential business and pushes his friends and

acquaintances to participate. He is very convincing and has a great intuition for failure.
He never succeeds with an investment and has made a lot of people he knows lose
money.
He loves his freedom, so it is hard for him to establish stable relationships. He loves
women and leaves everything at the prospect of a new conquest.
He is attracted by borderline illegal things, gambling, horse racing, betting and fun.
He is responsible for Gonzalo signing the contract with Franco, he swears he did not
find any irregularity, but in fact he never read it. When Gonzalo discovers the clause
that prevents him from breaking the contract he will want to kill him but it will be too
late. Sergio will manage to be understood and forgiven.
During Gonzalo’s transformation, Sergio will meet Amanda, Franco’s assistant and will
be dazzled by her, even if she will despise him and treat him badly from the start. This
tension between them is the origin of a possible relationship between two members of
opposing sides, Amanda on Franco’s side and Sergio on Martin’s side. They will be
close enemies, because they will have to be very near so the truth does not see the
light.
Sergio will become Gonzalo’s “armed wing”, he will have to fight and try to reach a
balance between his friend’s two worlds.
DANIELA CAMINERO (Claudía Fontán)
35 years old
Daniela is the channel’s makeup artist and a close friend of
Sol’s. She is one of the few people who are aware of the
arrangement between Martin and Sol. Sol trusts her, she is
her ally and unconditional friend and also shares his hatred
for Martin.
Daniela hates people touching her things, especially her
work elements, makeup, creams, Kleenex, etc. During the
news broadcast she watches the monitor to be aware of any
flaw and that generates friction with Álvaro, the director, who
considers Daniela is always in the middle delaying things.
Gonzalo will try to avoid her, following Amanda’s advice. Daniela can be very
dangerous for him. First because she is a terrible gossip, and second because she
knows Martin’s face perfectly well and suspects Gonzalo. She believes there is
something strange in that man but cannot determine what it is. It is not his temper, but
something in his expression she cannot define. Because of her profession she never
forgets a face, but whenever she is about to discover the truth, something else will
happen.
She is always afraid of everything; she always has sun block in her purse, besides an
amazing amount of objects such as tear gas, and a stunner.
She is also a beautician so that means she is in touch with Amanda and Tomas
whenever they need a facial or some other treatment. This closeness will supply her
with endless gossip to tell Sol.

Daniela is having an affair with Nacho, who also dates Lili, with whom she has a
terrible relationship which will worsen for the competition for Nacho.
The little secret Daniela hides is that she likes to gamble, especially dice. She will meet
Sergio while at that but he also tries to avoid her, she can discover the truth.
DIEGO PLANES (Walter Quiroz)
33 years old
Diego is a reporter; he works on the street and also hosts
news summaries. He is Martin’s natural successor.
Whenever Martin has been sick or away Diego replaced him
and that made him believe he is ready to replace any time
and he is not. Even if he is intelligent and professional he
lacks Martin’s charm can charisma.
Diego thinks he is better than what he really is and that also
means he is sure he should be doing Martin’s job. He is sure
Martin is not in that position because he is capable but
because of his ability as a lobbyist.
Diego is very narcissistic; he cannot be near a mirror because he is dazzled by his own
image. He is very careful of his aspect.
He is Sol’s lover and would love to make it public; he would like to succeed Martin both
as a TV star and as Sol’s official and public partner.
Diego is Martin’s big antagonist, he hates and envies him and secretly admires him. He
wants everything he has, including his wife.
He is, on the other hand, trying to please Franco and Amanda, because he knows the
power she has with the Andradas.
Due to his feeling of being always in the second place, he wears flashy clothes so
people will notice him.
The rumor of a possible resignation has raised his hopes to replace Martin. He is
anxious and full of hope. But Gonzalo appeared and nobody talked of resignation
again, so that will make him even more resentful.
He is always complaining with Franco, he finally gives him a space in the channel so
Diego has his own show. He uses that space to announce explosive news and call
people’s attention. The truth is Diego is a traitor and that exclusive news is given to him
by Núñez, the channel’s competition and Franco’s enemy.

CHARLY (Diego Reinhold)
25 years old
He is Martin Pells young assistant and suffers
his bad manners every day. He studies TV
production, is always working and almost gets
no sleep after working, studying, and a very
active social life. He is always partying and
very anxious to find a boyfriend. Guys are
only one-night stands and that is a great
frustration. He is secretly in love with Tomas,
Franco’s son and Martin’s partner.
He is not on speaking terms with his parents because they do not accept his
homosexuality and he lives in his friends’ houses. He is sure fate has a life of glamour
reserved for him and in the meantime, he is very active and tries to have the best
possible time.
He has crossed Tomas, in the gay circuit thousands of times and he is deeply in love
with him. He is very happy to be his eyes inside the channel. He feels nobody pays
attention to him and he is sure it is because of the place he occupies; obviously nobody
pays attention to Mr. Pells’ assistant, much less his boyfriend.
Charly is one of the few who know the arrangement between Martin and Sol. Charly is
very resentful against Martin even though he is one of the people who defend him in
the channel. Sergio’s arrival unbalances Charly, who was the sole assistant to Mr. Pells
until that time.
Charly must confront Sol and her allies more than once to defend Martin, to whom he is
very loyal. When Gonzalo replaces Martin, things will get difficult for Charly. He will
notice changes in the journalist’s behavior. On the other hand Martin treats him well so
he will feel guilty to desire his boyfriend and surprised when Martin helps him reach
Tomas.
Charly is living in a constant search, for a boyfriend, a better job, a party, anything that
makes him different from what he is.

LILI TOKMAN (Lucrecia Blanco)
35 years old
Lili is the executive producer of the network.
She lives for her job. She is hyperactive, very
efficient and always in every detail. . She is
always trying to manage Martin with all his
bad manners and spoilt behavior. Her goal is
for the show to be on the air. So all his efforts
maintain that delicate balance between the
hosts.
He does not like gossip that generates conflicts, though she sometimes is involved.
She does not care much about anything else.
She does not pay attention to anything. She wears whatever she finds in the closet,
eats whatever she finds, sometimes standing up and in a hurry. She only finds the time
to smoke a cigarette in the balcony because it is forbidden to smoke on the set. She
will find Gonzalo those times, very surprised because Martin has never smoked and he
hates cigarettes.
She has several cell phones and handies which are constantly ringing provoking
confusion. One of them is exclusively for Martin’s calls.
She does not have a personal life, for her everything is about the job. She has a secret
affair with Nacho, however, and will compete with Daniela, who also dates him. She
has a good relationship with all but they are all superficial, she has no fiends. The
assistant comment about her sexual orientation and wonder if she is gay while others
suspect she has an affair with a top executive of another channel. Others believe she
has a son from some past affair. Truth is nobody knows what she does outside her job,
except Álvaro who once discovered her kissing with Nacho and is aware of their
relationship.
NACHO ALBERTI (Federico Amador)
32 years old
Producer. He studied journalism in a private
University and then did a post grad course in
the USA. He belongs to a traditional and rich
family. He is a bon vivant and a born
seducer. Each pair of shoes he buys is worth
more than the salary he collects in a month
but he is thirsty for power and that is his main
drive. Women are crazy for him, he is having
an affair with Lili, who loves him and forgives him every lie, but Nacho also seduces
Daniela and makes her suffer, and none of them says anything for fear of losing him.
He is the classic psychopath who manages to have women at his feet and waiting next
to the phone for his call.
He has a high IQ and his family contacts are very useful so he has fresh news from
Politics and Finance.
Nacho tried to seduce Sol many times, in vain, but he will insist. He hates Martin and
Diego, he does not envy their fame or media exposition. He does not wish to become a
news anchor, he would like to own a news network.

He hates minorities: gays, Jews, or blacks, they are all inferior to him. He tries to hide
it in front of Franco but he always makes a comment about it.
He is a male chauvinist, for him women are trophies or toys to have fun.
He Amanda’s unconditional ally, he admires her efficiency, coldness and the way he
manages everything. Nacho will help her to destroy Núñez or whoever, using his best
weapons, intelligence and seduction.
ALVARO PRIM (Santiago Rios)
55 years old
Álvaro is a fifty-year-old man who is bored of
things, and missed his personal success which
he reminisces every three minutes. He is one of
those who say TV used to be better, life used to
be better, etc. … He is the director of the news
program starred by Martin Pells and Sol.
Álvaro learnt that, on TV, the only possible loyalty is to himself. He hates deeply all his
coworkers but never shows up front.
Alvaro is very reserved, distant. He does his job and leaves. He seems quiet but is very
stressed, though he is very professional.
He has high blood pressure and needs to eat without salt but hates it. He also hates
exercise, so he escapes the diet his wife prepares (he has no wife) eating everything
he wants and lies to his doctor saying he exercises but he does not even walk to the
door.
He is terribly unfaithful. He promises young ladies positions on TV in exchange for sex
old style anywhere in the channel.
RICARDO CATALANO (Fabian Arenillas)
45 years old
Ricardo is the lawyer and network advisor.
He is a professional bootlicker and the most
pessimistic person in the planet. His motto is,
if something has to go wrong, it will. He is
anxious, punctual, austere and clever. He
always has candy because he has stopped
smoking. He hates sports and has asthma,
but Franco pushes him to every activity because he likes to have an easy rival to beat
systematically while they keep working. They run together, play golf, and ride (despite
the fear of horses Ricardo has).
He always has flawless suits, but very classic. His tastes are classic, whatever he
wears he uses the same briefcase, it is a lucky charm but he will never admit it. He
pretends to be sure of himself but he is a superstitious man.

He belongs to Franco’s inner circle with Amanda. He graduated as a lawyer with
honors, but Franco is his only client. He offers exclusive dedication, he is the dragon
that watched Meganews interests and attacks everybody who defies Franco’s interests.
However, Ricardo secretly hates his boss and waits in silence to bite the hand that
feeds him. He is very resentful with him, because he thinks is unfair that Franco is who
he is. Nevertheless, Ricardo works very hard with a dark and secret goal stronger than
money and recognition. He wants to sink Amanda. Many years ago, Ricardo declared
his love and she rejected him. From that moment on, he swore to work hard to see the
moment in which she is depending on him. That day has not arrived yet, but it he does
not lose faith.
Ricardo will be the only one to know the truth about Martin Pells, with Amanda, Franco,
Sergio and Gonzalo himself.
MARCELA NÚÑEZ (Mirta Busnelli)
47 years old
Núñez, as everybody calls her, the owner of
news network A24, Franco Andrada’s
competitor. Marcela has just bought it. This
network used to be at the top of the ratings
and is currently in the second place.
Especially sine Martin Pells appeared. All her
efforts are aimed at getting to work for her
company.
Marcela Núñez is Franco Andrada’s ex wife. A great love of her youth when they both
studied to be journalists and dreamed of the world as a better place. They got married
and quickly advanced in the ruthless world of the news. They lost the romantic outlook
on their profession at the same time and they soon learnt they could go very far if they
learnt to manipulate people.
Franco learnt so well that he sank his ex wife and when he abandoned her left her

and his mother, but she hates Amanda the most because she knows she is the only

Núñez as plenty of suitors and among her collaborators, there is always a young good

Núñez is an aggressive woman and is obsessed with Franco’s destruction. However,
whenever they meet with in any event, she maintains a false friendly attitude. There is

At the beginning of our story, she feels she is about to fulfill her dream, to sign Martin’s
contract. She ignores the accident and the replacement, she does not know why he
changed his attitude, but will not stay without a fight. She will insist to get hat deal at all
costs, the word scruples is not in her dictionary, that is why she hires Diego who
betrays Franco in exchange for Núñez to get him the exclusives and pays to pass
information to Meganews.
This constant harassment will be another front Gonzalo will have to fight and it will put
him in constant danger.

JUAN (Gaston Ricaud)
30 years old
He is Marcela Núñez’ personal assistant, so he
must endure many things, her anger, her bad
mood, her aggression and above all her ideas
to win the war against Franco Andrada.
Juan will have multiple missions at her request,
he will be unharmed but very stressed
He is sent undercover and dressed as cleaning people to Meganews Headquarters to
plant false leads, tapes with doubtful images which are mistaken for good information
and sent on air unchecked. That will put the network in a ridiculous position with
millions of viewers. Juan is never recognized and other people are to blame.
He follows the Pells in their second honeymoon, which is an exclusive broadcast by A
News and falls prey to Franco’s plan to steal the material.
Juan is also a faithful partner for adventures, the only man in Núñez’ entourage. Even if
there is nothing going on between them, Juan must endure her intense and unjustified
anger seeking revenge at all costs. Juan will be collateral damage whenever there is a
problem.
Juan has a low profile as opposed to his boss. He is totally loyal, but there is a lot of
fear as well. He is a privileged witness of all Núñez’ maneuvers to sink Franco. He is
also the person she trusts.
MARINA (Maria Esquivel)
25 years old
Marina is a young student from Gonzalos’s
drama school with whom he has an occasional
relationship.
Marina falls in love with him, maybe as part of
student-teacher fascination or for true interest.
She feels his absence as a surprise. We meet
her in the last class of the school and we know of her again when Franco authorizes
Gonzalo a singles’ night out.
Gonzalo will meet Marina again, lying about a tour for the provinces with a politically
complicated play and Marina will fall to his feet.
They will have a night of love as the ones they used to, with a Gonzalo wearing a false
beard and extensions about to fall out of place.
Days after, she will look for him at the bar they used to meet but will only see Sergio,
who will give her any unconvincing excuse. Marina will follow him reaching the door of
Mega News.

She is very surprised and will try to enter the network. She will finally manage and will
soon see that Sergio is Martin Pells’s assistant and will notice a resemblance with
Gonzalo. Sergio will try to stop her because everything can be revealed in seconds.
Gonzalo will finally send Marina an e-mail speaking badly about Sergio and his sudden
change, from the purity of the stage to the sin of TV which Marina will believe. When
she faces Sergio he will act surprised and will be relieved.
Marina is unknowingly an element of danger in Gonzalo’s farce. He knows he must
avoid her at all costs but the risk is always there.
ALEX “Guest”
36 years old
She is a journalist of great experience and a new age way to work. She is hired by
Franco to write an “unauthorized bio” of the most famous couple of TV.
Her presence will be invasive and terrifying for Sol and Gonzalo’s plans. Alex will tape
everything they say when they least expect it and they will also be photographed.
Her sole arrival will cause problems: Tomas, upon hearing her name thinks she is a
man and is insecure believing she will try to go after Martin. Tomas and Charly will
think a lot of things that are only in their heads and will finally dilute at the moment they
realize she is a woman.
As soon as she meets them, Alex becomes friends with Gonzalo but not with Sol. They
have the same tastes in art, literature and cinema, and that attracts them both.
Alex, as her method of work, will live with Sol and Gonzalo, causing all the secrets of
the couple to be hidden better than before. Sol will have to lie and hide to see Diego
and Gonzalo will have to do his best not to fall for Alex’s seductive advances
Alex felt attracted by Gonzalo from the start. She likes him and will do her best to
seduce him. The relationship with Sol is tense, they hate each other.
Sol will find them in bed coming back from one of her nights of adventure. She will
leave unnoticed but these news will reach Gonzalo who will pretend to be tortured
about his sexuality. And Sol must hide the jealousy she feels.
When Alex finishes her investigation, the atmosphere will be very tense. Alex is back
home and will write wonders about Gonzalo and horrible things about Sol. The book
will be published and will soon be a best seller, forcing the Pells to tour the bookstores.
