Debay, Director ALL DISTRICTS Report of the Joint Chair The Joint Chair informed Board Members that Director Margie Rice’s son had passed away following a recent heart transplant, and extended sympathy to Margie and her family. The Joint Chair reported that due to a fall that severely injured her Director Jan Debay had undergone surgery. He advised that she kneecap, was now recuperating at home. As Don Mcintyre was in Cleveland, Ohio, attending Chair Cox advised that Blake Anderson would be a ULI Spring Meeting, covering this Monday. An open panel discussion would then commence on the Districts’ strategic planning efforts. 4 at the Districts’ Administrative for ALL DISTRICTS Report of General Counsel Tom Woodruff position spoke on of the Districts the status of as Assembly Bill 2109. He referenced the April 18, 1996 to detailed in his memorandum dated the Joint Chair and Board Members. Mr. Woodruff advised that a Closed Session would not be necessary, and was set for June 3, 1996 re Andy C. Patterson, et informed the Boards that trial County Sanitation Districts. The Louis Sangermano case has been by the Court until September 1996. He also reported concerning the distribution which has been made to the Districts of the pre-bankruptcy funds previously held by the County. Judy Wilson, Assistant General Manager-Administration, noted that the project was ready to be bid. In the future, she advised that staff would be prepared to give detailed information to Directors at the Joint Boards meeting when major projects are initially placed on an agenda.
