Besam was founded in 1962 with the development of automatic doors for the Swedish
healthcare sector. Expansion soon began into other sectors, such as transportation and

Crawford has early roots in garage doors, but industrial and commercial doors have been the
focus for over half a century. An extensive portfolio of Crawford doors has been sold in Europe
since the 1950s.
TKO pioneered the first fully impactable dock door in 1994 and today offers the broadest line
of specialty and impactable dock doors in the industry, suitable for a variety of applications.
