As soon as 6131 Records heard Springfield, Missouri's DREAM RITUAL they immediately knew they wanted the band to join their roster. Fortunately for
the label, this impressive new group agreed and planning quickly began for the release of their debut EP. Clocking in at just over 27 minutes, even calling
this six-song collection an EP feels a bit unfair, but DREAM RITUAL manage to demonstrate a powerful grasp on songwriting. Their take on grungy posthardcore sounds remarkably true to the '90s style, yet maintains a vibrant contemporary sensibility. 6131 Records will be releasing the debut, self-titled
EP by DREAM RITUAL on 12" vinyl and via digital outlets worldwide on October 28th, 2014.

No one could have foreseen that when slide guitar wizard Elmore James journeyed to New York in February of ’63 for two sessions produced by Harlem
label boss Bobby Robinson, it would mark the blues legend’s final studio dates.
He was prolific, revisiting his past classics as “Dust My Broom” and “It Hurts Me Too” (which became a posthumous hit for him on Bobby’s Enjoy label) as
well as cutting a few titles he hadn’t committed to tape before. This disc contains the great majority of the sides Elmore waxed at his historic farewell

“THE LORD OF THE RINGS” TRILOGY’S BILLY BOYD PERFORMS SONG IN “THE HOBBIT: THE BATTLE OF THE FIVE ARMIES”
BURBANK, CA (October 24, 2014) – Gearing up for the December 17, 2014, release of “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies”—the third in a trilogy
of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien—filmmakers Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens
announced today that Billy Boyd will perform the film’s end title song, “The Last Goodbye,” which he co-wrote with the filmmakers.
In making the announcement, the filmmakers stated, “It is hard, after 16 years and six films, to know exactly how to say goodbye. We knew that we
wanted to speak directly to all those who have taken this journey with us, especially to the fans whose love of these films has so often kept us going. This
is why we asked Billy Boyd, who has been with us from the very beginning, and whose portrayal as Peregrin Took in ‘The Lord of The Rings’ films is so
beloved, to help write and perform the final song in this trilogy. Billy is not just a wonderful actor but also an extremely accomplished singer/songwriter—
we are so glad he agreed once again to share his talent with us.
“There is always something simple and truthful and heartfelt running through even the grandest of the tales of Professor Tolkien. As Thorin tells Bilbo at
the end of The Hobbit, if the world valued song and cheer above gold it would be a merrier place. As much as ‘The Battle of the Five Armies’ is an epic

Sleaford Mods started out sometime during 2006 whilst Jason Williamson was living in Nottingham. Born out of part frustration and part accident, it quickly
found its feet as an aggressive verbal onslaught on all that is contrived and connected to the day-to-day hammer of low paid employment and domestic
siutations arising from that trap. After a year of working ideas out in both the studio and in live performances, Williamson moved south and took the cause
to London for a couple of years and trod the boards there for a couple of years, before returning to Nottingham in 2009.
Soon after that return he met Andrew Fearn and the Sleaford Mods became a duo. Fearn’s first work was on the production of “Wank” – the Mods’ fifth
CDr album. Soon after that started stalking the stage and studio with Williamson. Andrew’s involvement meant that Jason was now able to stop creating
the samples and loops that littered the early recordings and concentrate on the lyrics, whilst Andrew created numerous tunes for Jason to vent his spleen
over.
Just after the release of “Wank” the duo were invited to play a three day festival curated by Nottingham’s Rammel Club. During that weekend a working
relationship with Nottingham’s abstract-punk Harbinger Sound label was formed. A relationship which – a year later – resulted in the release of the
“Austerity Dogs” vinyl album. This release would be followed by numerous shows around the UK and Europe, including further festival appearances. As
word- of-mouth praise for the album slowly spread out and onto the record-buying publics’ radar, “Austerity Dogs” soon sold out of its intial run of 300
copies and has gone one to, as of today, a fourth pressing of the vinyl edition and a CD version was also released. Rave reviews would start to appear in
magazines as diverse as The Wire and Uncut, along with interviews being published both on paper and on-line, both here and abroad. The album
featured, and topped, many writers polls for the best records of 2013.
Somewhere between punk, hiphop and spoken word lie UK duo Sleaford Mods. (They are neither mods, nor from Sleaford. They're from Nottingham.)
Jason Williamson spews a tapestry of bile over low-tech, muscular backing by Andrew Fearn, the result is somewhere between The Fall, McClusky,
Happy Mondays and John Cooper Clark. The pair have been making music for eight years now but really started to get attention with last year's terrific
Austerity Dogs and look to go even wider with the just released Divide and Exit. On it Sleaford Mods are in full rebellion mode. Williamson hold equal
contempt for the rich, conservatives, liberals, phonies in general, idiots, "jolly fuckers," etc all via a nonstop torrent of brilliantly, hilariously profane lyrics.
Ipecac Recordings is introducing the coolest thing to come out of the UK in a long time. With the release of a compilation from Sleaford Mods titled
CHUBBED UP+. Sleaford Mods are a stripped down, political, electronic punk-hop band from working class Nottingham. This stuff is real and it is spot on!

Who would have thought that Jason Pierce's Spiritualized would have had any life in them after the rather uninspiring Amazing Grace in 2003? In the
intervening five years, Pierce nearly died from double pneumonia. Near death experiences by their very nature are life-changing events. The music on
Songs in A&E were recorded in that aftermath, but most of the album was written two years before he got sick; with so much of it about near death and
survival, it feels like life imitating art. From the first notes of "Sweet Talk," it's obvious that a very different Spiritualized is up and about; an acoustic guitar,
a sparse drum kit, the voice quartet, a few horns, and a minimal bassline fuel it. Pierce sweetly croons to a loved one in waltz time; his words are
simultaneously appeasing and accusatory. The gospel chorus isn't as overblown as it was on Amazing Grace or Let It Come Down. They are in a support
role, offering Pierce's reedy voice a fullness and authority it wouldn't have otherwise. The arrangement is lilting but powerful. How strange, then, the
sounds of a ventilator that usher in the next track "Death Take Your Fiddle": "I think I'll drink myself into a coma/And I'll take every way out I can find/But
morphine, codeine, Whisky, they won't alter/The way I feel/Now death is not around..."Death take your fiddle"/And play a song for me." Minor-key acoustic
guitar and ghostly bass frame Pierce singing a mutant folk-blues that evokes Gary Davis' "Death Don't Have No Mercy." The backing vocals float
wordlessly like death angels, hovering around the vocalist and giving the tune an otherworldly quality.
But this isn't a song about dying; it's a song about coming close and cheating it; it's eerie. The proof? The next two tracks: "I Gotta Fire," and "Soul on
Fire." The former is a taut, "Gimme Shelter"-esque rocker, the latter, a lush, uptempo love song. "Sitting on Fire" is a beautifully orchestrated love song:
it's an admission of weakness and codependency but celebrates both of them at the same time: "Baby, I'm sitting on fire/but the flames put a hole in my
heart/when we're together we stand so tall/But a part of me falls to the floor/Sets me free /I do believe it'll burn up in me for the rest of my life." Strings,
vibes, marimbas, and drums crash in to the center of the mix carrying the protagonist into oblivion. "Yeah, Yeah" is a scorching rocker that feels like the
Bad Seeds meeting the old Spacemen 3. "You Lie You Cheat," crashes in Velvets style with acoustic guitar and screeching feedback. The chorus sings
atop a flailing drum kit, distorted strings, and wailing electric guitar. The marimbas and strings that power "Baby, I'm Just a Fool," sweetly underscore a
very dark pop song, complete with "da-do-da-do-dat det-det-do's". It descends into beautifully textured chaos led by a loopy violin solo over seven
minutes. Songs in A&E is the most consistent recording Spiritualized has issued since 1997's Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space. It
contains the best elements of the band's signature sound, and paradoxically hedonistic yet utterly spiritual lyric themes. That said, newly focused energy,
willfully restrained arrangements, and taut compositions give the set a sheer emotional power that no Spiritualized recording has ever displayed before,
making it, quite possibly, their finest outing yet.

Project Overview:
Among the most powerful music to be captured on 78 rpm in America during the 1920s & 1930s are those recordings of black sanctified and gospel
singing. Ranging from plaintive mourning to unbridled ecstasy, the sacred music from this time period represents a flowering of diverse and idiosyncratic
rural songs styles. At no time was their a wider panorama of religious songs in America.
Selected exclusively from Christopher King’s private collection, the 78s included here represent the most unhinged, the most compelling survey of pre-war
black gospel. Of the 42 tracks in this 3CD/3LP collection, 34 have never been reissued until now. The complete recorded output of the Primitive Baptist
Choir of North Carolina is also included in this collection for the first time. Several rare & previously unissued photographs are also contained within.
Lovingly and respectfully designed by Susan Archie and firmly grounded in Scripture by Christopher King.

December 16 U.S. release via BMG/InGrooves.
‘The Anthology 1964-1971’ features over 100 songs across 5 CDs, the most comprehensive collection of The Kinks seminal 1960s and early 1970s Pye
label recordings ever released. Newly remastered, the box set features rare demos, interviews, alternate mixes, session outtakes, 25 previously
unavailable tracks, and extensive liner notes all in a beautiful box set.
This essential release includes many timeless gems including ‘You Really Got Me’, ‘Stop Your Sobbing’, ‘All Day And All of the Night’, ‘Till The End of The
Day’, ‘A Well Respected Man’, ‘Sunny Afternoon’, ‘Dead End Street’, ‘Waterloo Sunset’, ‘David Watts’, ‘Autumn Almanac’, ‘Days’, ‘Picture Book’ and ‘The
Village Green Preservation Society’.
‘The Anthology 1964-1971’ is arguably the crown jewel of an extensive re-release program covering the band's classic 1964-1970 catalogue. The first
installment was last month's 2-disc expanded edition of 1970’s ‘Lola Versus Powerman and the Moneygoround, Part One’ featuring Mono and Stereo
mixes, unreleased material and alternative versions, the 1971 soundtrack album ‘Percy’ and more. The Kinks 50th Anniversary campaign will continue

The Melvins return with Hold It In, their first studio album as a quartet since 2010's The Bride Screams Murder, on Oct. 14. Joining Buzz Osborne and
Dale Crover for the 12-song outing are Butthole Surfers' guitar player Paul Leary and bass player JD Pinkus. Hold It In was recorded in both Los Angeles
and Austin earlier this year.
"Hold It In is a refreshing piece of fiction in a boring world of fact and bullsh*t," said Osborne. "Paul is one of the best guitar players I have ever heard and
Pinkus has an outside the box type of approach to both guitar and bass that you just have to let it ride. I can't believe this actually happened. I'm thrilled."
"It's very rare you get a chance to work with three folks from the 'Break A Wish' foundation, all at the same time," said Pinkus. "I believe they'll remember
their experience with me forever (or until they finally all lose their fight with S.I.D.S)."
The Melvins kick off a round of U.S. tour dates on Oct. 15 in Sacramento at Assembly, which also includes a performance at this year's Voodoo
Experience in New Orleans. Osborne, Crover and Pinkus will be the touring roster for this run of dates.

“THE LORD OF THE RINGS” TRILOGY’S BILLY BOYD PERFORMS SONG IN “THE HOBBIT: THE BATTLE OF THE FIVE ARMIES”
BURBANK, CA (October 24, 2014) – Gearing up for the December 17, 2014, release of “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies”—the third in a trilogy
of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien—filmmakers Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens
announced today that Billy Boyd will perform the film’s end title song, “The Last Goodbye,” which he co-wrote with the filmmakers.
In making the announcement, the filmmakers stated, “It is hard, after 16 years and six films, to know exactly how to say goodbye. We knew that we
wanted to speak directly to all those who have taken this journey with us, especially to the fans whose love of these films has so often kept us going. This
is why we asked Billy Boyd, who has been with us from the very beginning, and whose portrayal as Peregrin Took in ‘The Lord of The Rings’ films is so
beloved, to help write and perform the final song in this trilogy. Billy is not just a wonderful actor but also an extremely accomplished singer/songwriter—
we are so glad he agreed once again to share his talent with us.
“There is always something simple and truthful and heartfelt running through even the grandest of the tales of Professor Tolkien. As Thorin tells Bilbo at
the end of The Hobbit, if the world valued song and cheer above gold it would be a merrier place. As much as ‘The Battle of the Five Armies’ is an epic
story about war and sacrifice and loss, it is also a personal tale about the importance of friendship and family and home.
“‘The Last Goodbye,’ performed by Billy Boyd, is both a farewell to Middle-earth and it is also our leave-taking of the audience. We cannot imagine a more
perfect voice to carry us away from the shores of Middle-earth…one last time.”
Billy Boyd reflects, “I wanted the song to be a goodbye to all the fans who have been part of this amazing journey and to the whole world of Tolkien as it
has been told in the cinema for our generation. No one knows the world of Tolkien better than Peter, Fran and Philippa, and I feel incredibly touched and
honored to be asked to write and perform this song, and to be at the start and end of these beautiful, historic stories. To once again work so closely with
them has been one of the true honors of my working life.”

Directed by Peter Jackson, “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” features a screenplay by Fran Walsh & Philippa Boyens & Peter Jackson &
Guillermo del Toro, based on the novel by J.R.R. Tolkien. Jackson also produced the film, together with Carolynne Cunningham, Zane Weiner and Fran
Walsh. The executive producers are Alan Horn, Toby Emmerich, Ken Kamins and Carolyn Blackwood, with Philippa Boyens and Eileen Moran serving as

December 17, 2014, with select international territories releasing on December 10, 2014. Warner Bros. Pictures is handling worldwide theatrical
