Highbury is located
close to miles of
scenic coastline on
which to walk, and is
only a few minutes
from the house.
Safety precautions include alarms, smoke and heat
detectors. All baths and wash hand basins are fitted
with thermostatically controlled water temperature
valves.
Included in terms are all laundry and choice of meals
which can be tailored to the individual need of the
guest, also access to the company’s Glyndwr Activity
Centre.
Fees are agreed and paid by the relevant authority
as rooms are booked en block, annually by
authorities.
We provide respite and short term care for people
with a Physical and/or learning disability aged 18-65
years, who are supported in following normal daily
living routines.
All services provided to guests are appropriate to
social services individual care plans.
Transport is also available for the needs of guests
including travel to day placements.
Highbury is a small family owned home registered for
4 persons. It is under direct management of the
owners, Olga Davies, who has NVQ level 4 in
Care Management and her
husband Phil Davies, who also has NVQ level 4
Registered Managers award. The staff employed
either have, or are working towards
NVQ levels 2, 3 and 4.
