What is TubeRadio?
This web application allows you to search for music that has
accompanying video from Youtube. There are many methods to search
by, such as artist, album, and public playlist. Tuberadio is free, but
does require registration in order to save playlists that you create.
Uses
Go to page 8 to learn more about how to use TubeRadio for parties
and more!
Get Started
Google TubeRadio, or visit: http://player.tuberadio.fm/tuberadio.asp
This will get you to the website player and an introduction page. The
small window allows you to watch a demonstration on how to use
Tuberadio and what it is. To skip this, click “close” and continue to
the main screen.

Now you are on the main page for Tuberadio. From here there are a
variety of options for seeking music that also has Youtube video.

T here are three options to search through: Youtube, or
Discography, or Public Playists. Searching “Youtube” will find
videos for the artist or song that you enter. Under “Discography” enter
the album name. Through “Public Playlists” you can search for music
or artist playlists made public by other users of TubeRadio.
O ne example is to search for a song that you like, such as “Billionaire”
by Travie McCoy. Simply type the name of the song into the search
bar, and press “Enter” or “return” as shown below.
T he results will appear in the window below. My search has shown
around 30 Youtube video results that include a tag with the song
“Billionaire”.

N ow, click on one of the songs. A preview will appear in the video
window. If that is the video you are looking for click “Add to Playlist”.
O nce the song is added to your playlist, you have access to additional
information on that particular artist and song, as well as
recommendations to similar songs and artists.

O nce you have clicked on the playlist, in this case “Main Playlist”.
Then double click on the song you added (from the list). Below is a
display of the video, next to it are more details: “Releases”, “Lyrics”,
“Biography” (Bio), and “Similar” (songs and artists).
T he same information is available by searching via “Discography”.

T o search by “Discography” enter the name of the album in the
search bar. Once you find the album click on it and then click on “Add
Albums to Playlist” above. As inferred, you can click on multiple
albums to add your playlist from this screen. The albums will be
organized by songs, and TubeRadio will give you the option to add the
album(s) to a new playlist.

O nce you return to the Playlist songs are listed by Video Name,
Artist Name, Album Name, and Length of Time the song lasts.

O nce you click on a song in your playlist, TubeRadio will
automatically play every song below that too. This is a great idea for a
party or background music for a Jing video.
M ost of these albums are also for sale, the option to buy will appears
below it.
T he top music on TubeRadio can be found under “Chart” just above
the play options.
