ABOUT PRAISEWORKS
PraiseWorks is an incredible opportunity for students
to gather to worship, to learn about worship, and to
gain skills for leading worship. Our goal is to equip
students with hands-on experiences and to give
them a place to discover and develop their passion
and their God-given abilities.
PraiseWorks is for students who have completed
7th -12th grade. If 6th grade students are included
in your student ministry, those who have completed
6th grade may participate in PraiseWorks.

• Registration by June 20 - $199* (fees must be postmarked June 20th)
• Late Registration June 21 - July 5 - $225*
*Includes 4 nights lodging, 11 meals, T-shirt & materials
• Choir Fee: $5.00 (does not apply to orchestra members)

PRAISEWORKS MISSION PROJECT 2016: We are collecting
school supply packets for Arkansas Church Planters. It is so
important for new church plants to connect and meet the needs of their community.
Because they are a new church, they have limited resources. Last year, Arkansas Baptists planted 31 new churches
that saw just under 700 professions of faith and 238 baptisms. You can help that continue!
In a 2 gallon zip-lock bag put: • 5 pocket folders

• 1 package of wide-ruled notebook paper (150 pages)

MORNING CELEBRATION BAND & PRAISE TEAM –
Audition-based group of vocalists and instrumentalists will lead
each morning. This will replace the student’s 8:00 a.m.

ORCHESTRA – All students who plan to play in the orchestra
must audition for chair placement. One year of school band/
orchestra experience or private lessons are required to be in
orchestra.

ORCHESTRA – All students who plan to play in the orchestra

TALENT SHOW – Students who plan to audition for the talent
show must sign-up for auditions on the camp registration form.
PLEASE have only one person designated to register for a group.
No sign-up for talent show auditions allowed at camp.

• NO REGISTRATION IS GUARANTEED WITHOUT PAID FEES AND COMPLETED ONLINE REGISTRATION.

MANY TRACKS HAVE LIMITATIONS ON THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS WHO CAN PARTICIPATE.
Sign up for tracks is on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS. Once the tracks are full, NO OTHER
STUDENTS CAN BE ADDED. NO track changes can be made after July 5.
• ALL REGISTRANTS must pre-register for tracks and auditions, indicating their voice part (for choir) or
instrument played (for orchestra), track choices (1st, 2nd and alternative), audition information and t-shirt
size. Orchestra players must have had one year of formal training (band or private lessons) and be able to
read music, otherwise the student must choose choir.
• EVERY STUDENT will participate in either choir or orchestra.
•
The Health and Participation Form must be completed in full and requires the signature of a parent or
guardian.
SPONSORS
Each church must provide separate sponsors for males and females at
a ratio of one sponsor for every 10 students. The minimum age for a
sponsor is 20. All sponsors must have had a background check by their
church or sign the needed form for ABSC to do a background check.
Adult sponsors and faculty are welcome and encouraged to play with
the orchestra or sing with the choir.

that is participating in PraiseWorks to see if they will include you or
