1. How do I know what kind of inlet valves I have?
Hose ends are all different so it’s important to determine the type of valves
you have prior to ordering. The information below will help you determine
your valve type.
Universal Inlet Valves
Low voltage contact switches
are inside the valve opening.
Connection is made when the low
voltage ring on the hose connects
with the contact switches inside the
valve. Supports turbine powerheads
and hoses or electric powerheads
and hoses with a pigtail cord.
Direct Connect Electravalves
110V contact switches are above
the valve opening. Connection is
made when the pins on the hose
are inserted into the contact switch.
Supports both turbine powerheads
and hoses and electric powerheads
and hoses.
VACUFLO Inlet Valves
Low voltage contact switches are
above the valve opening. The low
voltage connection is made when
the low voltage pins on the hose
are inserted into the contact switch.
Supports turbine powerheads and
hoses or electric powerheads
and hoses with a pigtail cord.
2. I have a different brand of central vacuum system.
Will VACUFLO accessories work with my system?
Most of VACUFLO’s convenient accessories will
work with ANY central vacuum system. Hoses may
not be compatible based on the type of inlet valves
you have, refer to question one above for more information.
