Our kids need YOU! We are in need of nursery / toddler workers in a few areas: 1) Sunday mornings either Sunday School or Church service. Teens are welcome to serve. 2) Pre-school teachers for the church service. This can be as little as 1x a month. 3) Teen helpers for the preschool room Sundays during the service (10:45 am) 4) Wednesdays for MOPS. This is once a month and we have more children this night. (4th Wednesdays) We are seeking a leader for MOPS childcare nights. 6 pm—7:30 pm 5) Wednesday evenings during the school year. 5:45 pm—7:30 pm , during Awana. If you love kids & would like to serve in any of these areas, please fill out today’s connection care or contact the church office ASAP! Our fall mid-week activities begin on September 7 and we need to be staffed and ready! VBS UPDATE! We had a great week. We averaged 110 kids each day and 80 for our evening activities. Thank you for all who volunteered in all areas. VBS cannot happen without you. SAVE THE DATE for the last week of July next year! A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny. But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you're tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study is for you. The enemy always fails miserably when he meets a woman dressed for the occasion. The Armor of God, more than merely a biblical description of the believer's inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personal- Pray for our Elderly, Shut-Ins and those with on-going illnesses Tom Branson, Anita & Ron Coleman, Harriet Deinlein, Diane Dustman, Maxine Espich, Norm Faulconer, John Ginn, Imojean & Ken Grapes, Peggy Joseph, Pat Shield & Edith Swearingen Maxine Espich - fell on June 28th and was taken to MercyWest where they repaired her hip. She has returned home. PRAISE! Please continue to pray for a speedy recovery John Ginn - Has moved in with his daughter Tori. Her address is: 1020 DePauw Drive Fairfield, Ohio 45014. They are working on a landline just for John. Please pray for the Ginn family during this transition and for John, to have peace and comfort. Edith Swearingen - She is living with her daughter in Lexington. Address: 233 Irvine, Lexington, KY 40502. She is doing better but misses being home. Please continue to pray for her. Sophia Kuchera - Please continue to pray for her as they figure out what is causing her symptoms, for direction & peace for Jen & the family. Dan Nolan - Pat Nolan’s brother, received his chemo last week and is on schedule for this week’s treatment pending his white blood count. His determination is strong. Please continue to pray him through his journey & lift up his family during this time. Stephanie - M arie Hager's Niece. She fell and hit her head. Her CT scan was clear. She has a concussion and was not kept at the hospital Her husband and mother will be keeping an eye on her. Please pray that she that has no further issues from the head injury. Visitation & Cards Ministry for the month of August: Ken & Imogene Grapes, 2403 Vineyard Court, Lawrenceburg, Ind. 47025 **you can pick up free greeting cards to send at the ministry info table** MOPS is having a family pool party! August 10 at Randy & Amy Smith home. From 6 pm—8 pm. Please bring a dish and/or dessert to share. We’ll be ordering pizza, $5 per family. This is a GREAT time to come if you have young children, get to know what MOPS is all about & have fun at the same time. We would LOVE to have you!
