The Dosatech is the ideal peristaltic pump for the dosing of a liquid solution into the piping system of your pond.
A dosage of up to 60ml an hour is possible. In addition, it is possible to change the dosage every hour by operating the push
button underneath the display.
A big advantage of small daily dosages of living bacterial products (like Microbe-Lift Clean & Clear) compared to bigger monthly dosages is
the so called ‘Yakult/Actimel effect’. With larger monthly dosages the bacteria that don’t find food will die. With small daily dosages more than
30 different species of living bacteria will enter the pond looking for food. The Dosatech can be used for dosing any liquid product like anti
blanket weed products, phosphate binders, Ph+/Ph-products, etc. The neoprene hose makes it possible to add various types of solutions to
the water of your pond.

The UV-C Timer DosaTech is a unique product in the pond market: it combines an effective T5 UV-C unit with the new
AquaForte Dosatech dosagepump! Also the UV lamp has a timer function which allows you to switch the lamp on/off per
hour and keeps count for the amount of hours the lamp has been used to indicate the time of replacement.

Submersible UV-C lamps have a big advantage compared to conventional UV-C units: no pressure loss!
These lamps can be used in filter tanks so the water can pass without any resistance/pressure loss.
NOTE: the UV-C radiation range is limited (dependant on i.e. the water clarity) so only a part of the water flowing
by is treated. The user himself is responsible for the dangers of exposure to UV-C radiation to the eyes!
Use the supplied safety glasses and/or a safety switch that automatically switches the lamp off when you have access to the lamp.
Warning: Please be sure the lamp is always completely under water!
The plastic end of the lamp has a 32mm diameter so you can use 32mm pipe clips to mount the lamp in a tank. The T5 lamp has a
9000 hours lifespan and a 25.000 microwatt output. The new model can be opened so the lamp can be replaced (quartz sleeve and
ballast can be used again). A special tank connector is now available for direct installation in i.e. filters (see picture). For mounting it
needs a hole of ± Ø48mm (1½" male threading).

The Blue Lagoon UV-C Pro Buster has 3 powerful 130 Watt UV-C Amalgam lamps and is suitable for large

An ideal en effective method against (blanket)weed. The Copper Electrolyser is installed before the (swim)pond return inlet. The pond
water flows through the Copper Electrolyser unit. A copper unit, or Electrolyser, is positioned within the housing, and the copper unit
discharges a minimal amount of copper into the water flowing through the housing. These copper ions (Cu2+) in the water have a
positive charge and destroy the cell walls of algae, bacteria, viruses and other primitive organisms. As the cell wall is thereby
damaged, these organisms are no longer able to take up any nutrients, and are therefore unable to multiply. The process of applying a
positive charge to copper is called copper electrolysis. Inlet/outlet: Ø50mm.
PLEASE NOTE: (too much) copper is harmful for fish! After 2 weeks the unit
will automatically switch off. Test the copper level in the water and activate the
unit again if necessary. This will prevent the build-up of too much copper in the water.

These UVC units are made of a high quality stainless steel (316L) and have an
unequalled performance at high flow rates. The 150 mm diameter of the housing
assures a minimum exposure of 2 seconds to UV radiation at the recommended flow
rates (see table). Due to the use of special "High Intensity" UV lamps with an output
of 30.000 micro Watt (25.000 after 13000 hours) and the minimum exposure of 2 sec,
they kill micros-copic algae as well as 99.9% of harmful bacteria and viruses,
including Aeromanas, Pseudomonas and Legionella!
The type of BIO-UV lamp should be based on an effective flow rate per hour,
provided by the pump, rather than on the volume of the pond. BIO-UV lamps are
used instead of chlorine for disinfection of swimming pools.

Exclusive features include a 316 Stainless Steel housing that allows for 360° rotation of
the inlet and outlet unions for ease of installation. Another key exclusive features not

The Lifespan Indicator shows exactly when the UV-C lamp of your client needs to be replaced. Your costumer can put this compact strip in a
magnetic card (personalized versions are possible), which is easily attached to a steel surface by the whole magnetic back. The magnetic
card can be made in any design and with your corporate identity logo and website.
1: Once the UV-C lamp is switched on for the first time you squeeze the button of the Lifespan Indicator until you here "click".
2: Paste the Lifespan Indicator into the (personalized) magnetic card.
3: Attach the magnetic card in a space that is at room temperature, for example on the refrigerator door.
4: The red coloured liquid will take about 12 months to completely turn the strip on the Lifespan Indicator red.
5: When the lifespan indicator is red, the consumer will automatically use the contact details on the magnetic card to order a new

GENERAL INFORMATION ON PROTEIN SKIMMERS & OZONE
Benefits of a protein skimmer:

What is ozone, and what does it do?
Ozone is a special form of oxygen. Normally, two atoms of oxygen form an oxygen-molecule. Contrary to this, an ozone molecule
consists of three oxygen atoms.
Once this molecule is decomposed, new reaction partners are needed. All effects which ozone has on the biochemical course of
reaction in the water are based on its high oxidation power. Ozone is the strongest available oxidation agent. On the other hand ozone
is environmentally friendly, as it only consists of three atoms of oxygen and it doesn't introduce any chemicals into the water. Just as in
nature, ozone is formed in a flash inside the ozone electrode from the oxygen content of the air. Therefore, three oxygen molecules
are needed to form two ozone molecules.

Together, ozone and a protein skimmer will improve the water quality significantly. Filter systems will perform more stable and equally.
Peaks of pathogens or harmful matters will be strongly reduced or totally prevented. It is the perfect addition for every filter system.

The redox meter switches an ozone generator on when it
is below the desired value, and will switch it off when this
set value is reached. This gives you control over the
ozone dosage to the water and is a essential element in
the system. The redox meters come with calibrated
electrode (sensor) which should be replaced every 2
years. There are 2 models available: a universal model
with a 230V plug outlet that will be switched on/off, and a
special Sander model that keeps supplying current to the
generator but will deactivate ozone dosing.

SANDER PROTEIN SKIMMERS

First of all, the Fresh-Skim protein skimmer, is an extremely
efficient fresh water protein skimmer due to their large volume.
As the proteins are directly removed from the water column,
the filter system will have a significantly lighter job to do. The
biological load of the water will be lower, besides the fact that
the air bubbles will increase the oxygen level of the water. This
will aid both fish growth as well as water clarity. The
recommended flow is based on a contact time of at least 1
minute which makes the Fresh-Skim also qualified as a safe
ozone reactor.
When ozone is used we recommend the use of a residual ozone
destroyer for the air outlet to prevent the release of ozone in the
air. Thereare 2 options for mounting the redox electrode into the
pipe system: in between the pump and the skimmer (before the
ozone dosing), or in the return pipe from the skimmer (after the
ozone dosing), or better, using both. Bigger skimmers are available
on demand. The ceramic air diffusers should be replaced yearly to
maintain maximum efficiency. The skimmer should be fed with prefiltered water (i.e. after a sieve- or drum filter) and the water should
return to the pond freely in gravity, without any head pressure.

The worlds 1st ultra compact low-voltage ozone generator for reducing algae & germs
Ozone has traditionally been a topic of hot debate among professional koi keepers. The fact is that ozone possesses
loads of highly valuable characteristics, it removes colourants from the water; it converts toxic nitrite into relatively
harmless nitrate; it removes bacteria, viruses and other pathogens; it kills green algae; and it raises the oxygen content of the water.
The AquaForte KOIZO³ Ozone Cell, on the other hand, produces ozone from water!
A process of electrolysis is used to break down water into its two component parts: oxygen and hydrogen. The Ozone Cell also
releases single oxygen atoms (i.e. O rather than O2 atoms) that instantly combine with oxygen molecules (O2) to form ozone (i.e. O3).
Ozone is a highly reactive substance and tries to revert straightaway to its original form, thus causing the extra oxygen atom te react
with an organic substance such as nitrite, a colourant, algae or a virus, which are then ‘incinerated’ by oxidation. The substance that
remains after this oxidation process is pure oxygen. The ozone leaves the Micro Ozone Cell in the form of tiny bubbles of gas. This is
the great advantage of a succesful waterbased reaction: the smaller the particles, the better.
The Ozone Micro Cell is supplied with a Soft Water Module. This unit has to be filled with distilled/deionized water. The cell core is
fitted directly into the module so the cells are only in contact with pure water. The ozone produced leaves the module through a small
stainless steel capillary pipe that holds an ozone hose. This ozone hose has a 3/8" fitting to connect with the pond pipe system to
perform its oxidizing cycle. The only maintenance required is refilling the module with distilled water. The life-span of the ozone cells
in this module is extended to at least one year! An additional benefit is the user can see the cell continuously at work by means of
the rising ozone bubbles. The Soft Water Module is supplied with a handy wall bracket for easy installation. The Ozone Micro Cell
KOIZO³ 4 Cells is now standard equipped with this module.

Compact ozone reactor with a special compartment for activated carbon to destroy residual ozone. Ideal for
removing (yellow/brown) colorants from the water with the use of ozone. Ozone generator is not included! Suited for

External air can be entered through the grey hose connector (1). The generator is designed to have the ozone
sucked out by means of a venturi (2). This is the recommended and most safe way to use the generator and
prevent the escape of ozone through leakage. Next, the mix of ozone and water has to go through an ozone
reactor to have the ozone react with organics in the water.
NEVER INJECT THE OZONE DIRECTLY INTO THE POND OR THE PIPE SYSTEM OF THE POND!
In special occasions you can use a large, ozone resistant, air stone in the ozone reactor on the ozone side.
A small air pump is then connected to the air inlet of the generator. Keep in mind that the ozone side has a
free outlet to prevent an increased air pressure.

The Ozone Redox UVC has a special 75watt T5 UV-C lamp that generates ozone as well as UV-C at the
same time. The lamp produces 600mg/h ozone and 25.000 microwatt of UV-C

HINT: The optimal life-span of the T5 lamp regarding UV-C is

You know the problem: a swimming pool/pond without extra heating is only pleasantly warm for about 3 to 4 weeks during the summer
- a very short amount of time compared to the high investment and high maintenance a pool requires. An indoor pool even needs to be
heated the complete year, which, considering the conventional energy sources, costs a lot of money and is not very environmental
friendly. There is an other possibility! The heating of pools is the perfect application for the free and environmental friendly solar
energy. Because no high temperatures are needed, but relatively a large amount of water needs to be heated, it is very effective to
operate these installations at a high flow rate and on a relatively low temperature. OKU collectors are moulded in one peace and are
colored homogeneous black. The system can normally be used with the existing filter pump. Corrosion and pool water resistant. The
(pool)water is pumped directly through the collectors. OKU collectors are frost resistant and can hold human weight.
There are 3 easy connection variations:
1. with the filter pump over a automatic 3-way ball valve with thermostat.
2. with an own pump and thermostat in a circular flow.
3. with an own pump, thermostat and plumbing, disconnected from the filter system.
See table on the right for the recommended collector size in
% of the pool size for outdoor pools with covers or indoor
pools (beginning of may up to september). Temperature
increase 4 - 7°C in comparison with not heated pools. Without
a cover the collector size ought to be 50% bigger. The local
differences in hours of sun per day can in- or decrease the
collector size with 20%.

Pumps: recommended flow rate is 150 up to 250 liters per m²
collector surface per hour. The recommended capacity of the
pump can be easily calculated: the collector surface x 200
liters. The pressure loss can be determined by taking the
difference in height between the water level and collectors
and add 5 metre.

Heat pumps are an ideal solution
• The most economic and efficient solution. Without sunshine, the air is still full of energy. With a heat pump you will enjoy both comfort
and wellness as well as lower energy costs.
• Operation principle
Heat pumps exploit the physical properties of a volatile
evaporating and condensing fluid. The heat pump compresses the
fluid to make it hotter on the side to be warmed, and releases the
pressure at the side where heat is absorbed. The working fluid, in
its gaseous state, is pressurized and circulated through the system
by a compressor. On the discharge side of the compressor, the
now hot and highly pressurized vapor is cooled in a condenser,
until it condenses into a high pressure, moderate temperature
liquid. The condensed refrigerant then passes through an
expansion valve. The low pressure liquid refrigerant then enters
the evaporator, in which the fluid absorbs heat and boils. The
refrigerant then returns to the compressor and the cycle is
repeated.
• Extremely low power consumption (COP 5,5)
80% of the energy is supplied from the outside air. 20% electric energy is needed to run the heat pump. The heat pump will reach an
efficiency up to 5,5 (550%). This efficiency is determined by dividing the useful energy supply with the used energy to run the
compressor. This means that only 20% of the energy must be purchased (as electricity) and 80% is supplied free of charge by nature!
In other words: every Euro spent on energy gives you 4 Euro of warmth. You will only depend on your energy supplier for 20%! To
compare the energy consumption with other systems: normal gas heater: 109%; condensing gas heater: 93%; electric heating: 100%;
heat pump: 20%.

The Super Air is a pond aerator that requires less pump pressure than the regular Venturis. With a Venturi, as much as 50% of water
flow may be lost, whereas with a Super Air the loss will only be 10 to 20%. The secret lies in the special Stainless Steel grid onto which
the water flow passes at increased velocity. The form of the grid causes optimal turbulence and mixing of water and air, providing
efficient oxygen exchange. Tests have shown that the yield (= oxygen uptake in water) in a Super Air is noticeably higher than in a
normal Venturis with a reduced loss of water flow.
APPLICATION: The Super Air must be placed at an angle of ± 45°, with the grid fully submerged. Make sure that the air intake is
completely above water. It is also possible to instal the unit with the output above the water surface. Sometimes this is recommended
when starting a new pond or filter, in quarantine and hospital tanks and in tanks with very heavy fish loads where ammonia and nitrite
may occur due to insufficient biomass in the filters. The Super Air can separate part of those gasses. Placing the output above water
level causes the gasses to be blown off into the air. ATTENTION: The Super Air is very sensitive for clogging of the grid by string algae
(blanket weed). Some form of pre-filtration is therefore recommended to ensure continuous operation. The grid needs to be cleaned
regularly with a (tooth)brush.

The Spin drifter Pond Aerator consists of a EPDM rubber
membrane (diameter 250mm) mounted on a Polypropylene disk.
The aerator is mounted on a steel support with nylon coating and
weighs 5 kg in total. The Pond Aerator was designed to be placed
on the bottom of the pond. The Aerated Dome was designed to be
installed in an existing bottom drain and the Aerated Bottom Drain
is a complete bottom drain with separate connection for the air
hose. When air is blown into the membrane, the membrane
inflates before any air bubbles are apparent.
When it is fully inflated, air bubbles will escape through the 4500
slits. When the airflow is interrupted, the membrane deflates and
collapses, closing the slits before any water can flow back into
the aerator. The required pressure to blow air through the slits in
the membrane is 20 mbar at the recommended airflow. The
recommended airflow in a koi pond is 20 ltrs/minute/metre depth
per aerator for maximum oxygen exchange to the water. The
drawing below shows how the aerator causes the water to
circulate inside the pond.

To date, phosphate test kits have consisted of a bottle or tube with a liquid that has to be
added drop by drop to a water sample. The idea is to count the number of droplets that are
required to produce a sudden change in the colour of the sample. The number of droplets
equals a given phosphate concentration. This is a relatively laborious method that is not
very accurate given that the size of a droplet can vary considerably, depending on how
hard you squeeze the plastic tube... The great advantage of this test method is that you
don't have to count droplets, because the reagent is already on the test strip and simply
dissolves as you move it up and down in the water sample. All you need to do is compare
the colour of the sample with the colour card. The colour of the water sample in the test
tube corresponds with the following phosphate concentrations: Yellow = 0.0 ppm (parts
per million), Green = 0.2-1.0 ppm, Blue = >2.0 ppm.

The Pronto is a simple-to-operate, practical meter for ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential, or
Redox) measurements and has been manufactured to serve as a monitor for swimming pools and
spas. The Pronto front case incorporates a large, bright LED indicator. Should the measurements
fall below the userselectable ORP values (350 to 850 mV), the red LED starts flashing to alert the
operator of an undesired condition. The Pronto can also be applied for ponds with ozone systems,
however with an alarm indication “in reverse”. For pools and spas it is important that the ORP does
not fall below a certain value for proper disinfection of the water. For ponds it is important that the
ORP value will not rise above a certain value. Since the LED indicator only flashes under the
selected value we have to interpret this alarm in reverse for ponds. As long as the indicator LED
flashes, the ORP value is not too high for fishponds.
EXAMPLE: When the ORP value rises above 350 mV, the indicator LED stops flashing to
indicate that the ORP value in the pond is too high. Range: -999 to +999 mV with a resolution
of 1 mV. Accuracy at 20°C is ±5mV. The ORP electrode has a platinum sensor with 2 metres
of cable. 12 volt adapter is included. Pronto casing also incorporates a moulded eye so that it
can be installed with just a screw.

These pocket photo meters are specially designed for measuring phosphate & nitrite in fresh- and seawater and free
chlorine in swimming pools and whirlpools. They are much more accurate than test kits and test strips and the results are
displayed digitally. They are very light weighted, so easy to use at ponds, swimming pools and whirlpools. No more
fussing around with test strips and comparing colours.
Phosphate and Free Chlorine range: 0,01 to 2,50 mg/l (=ppm). Precision ± 5% from the read out value. Resolution 0,01 mg/l (ppm).
Nitrite range: 0 to 200 µg/l (=ppb). Resolution 1 µg/l (ppb). NOTE! This is an ultra low range of 0 to 0,2mg/l nitrite!
Alkalinity range for salt water (not suited for fresh water): 0 to 300 mg/l (=ppm) CaCO3, resolution: 1 mg/l (ppm)
