President’s Message:
A couple of days after Jessica sent out the newsletter for January, I received a packet in the mail from the Hamlin Wheel
Fest Cruise-In coordinator, Gary House. Enclosed was a very nice hand-written letter of invitation and a second thanking us for
our past participation and regarding our participation in this year's Wheel Fest. Both letters are included below.:

GET READY TO BE SHOCKED
Our upcoming March meeting will be different from any other format we have followed thus far. It will begin with a short
business meeting, then the focus will shift more on technical items. We will have a coil and condenser tester present for testing
old/used coils and condensers. Also there will be a Michigan Wheel Propeller Guide for identifying all Michigan Wheel propellers.
We should be able to determine what pitch a prop is as well as what motor it is designed for. So mark your calendars for March
10, 2008, bring your used coils, condensers, and Michigan Wheel propellers, and make plans to join us for a fun filled evening
with friends, you'll be glad you did.
Respectfully yours,
Jason Baxter
WNY-AOMCI January Meeting Report-1/14/07
The meeting began at 7:00pm with my reading of the treasurer's report. I'm happy to report that our treasury is strong and
that there are no bills outstanding. Next, Jason moved on to New Business. The first item up for discussion was about upcoming
meets. A motion was made by Craig Baxter and seconded Dick Willgens, that the WNY Chapter participate in all events that the
WNY Chapter participated in last year. The motion was unanimously approved. The next item up for discussion was about the
frequency of our meetings. A motion was made by Craig Baxter and seconded by Dick Willgens to switch to bi-monthly meetings.
The motion was unanimously approved. This concluded the new business part of the meeting. Since there was no old business,
we had a general discussion about some of this years upcoming events. Jason passed around two letters and a flier he had
received from the Wheel Fest Cruise-In Coordinator. The meeting adjourned shortly after 8:00pm, but most were there till after
9:00pm.
Sincerely Yours,
Jessica Baxter
FOR SALE / WANTED
At Laing's Outboards recent Swap Meet, Shawn, Jessica, and myself talked with Mike Manganiello. He is selling some of his
collection and had a list of just some of the motors. The following motors were on that list. These are just some of the motors that
weren't sold upon receipt of the list. There are quite a bit more for sale, so I've added his contact info so you may call him.

New Chapter Website Address
The Western New York Chapter has a new website address. The new address is shorter and more accurately defines us
as an organization and less like a business. The old site will co-exist until I get the time to insert the redirects. Also, the date for
this years Kendall Inn event has not been finalized, but should be in the near future.
I recently investigated a new site for that could be used for anything for a meeting site to a wet meet. I still have to do
some more follow up, but this could lead to a new meet for our chapter. Stay tuned for more information.
From my igloo,
Jason
Next meeting is March 10, 2008 at the Kendall Inn at 7:00pm. There address is:
