The Texas Basketball Museum in Carmine opened in the summer of 2009. Over 1000 visitors from all over the State and the World have stop by to visit. personal 40 year collection of basketball memorabilia , everything that was on display at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame in Waco, now has a new home in Carmine, Texas. Carmine is located half way between Houston and Austin , Texas one block off of Highway 290, halfway between Brenham and Giddings. The Museum features The Texas High School Basketball Hall of Fame, memorabilia and historic pieces that have been collected over the years from outstanding programs, coaches, players from high school to the professional ranks.
